Is that $75/wheel with the tire? If so I'd love to know through which service. I priced shipping my drag pack and UPS it was more than double that per wheel w/tire. :confused1: GLWS!

Arizona, right? The numbers are a bit inflated due to the Correction Factor applied. Modern turbo cars can largely overcome the density altitude handicap because they're commanding a TQ value.
They're definitely very mild mannered under 'normal' driving. I do wish they were a bit more grabby when cool. I've found they need a decent amount of heat in them and then they wake up a LOT. Unless you're really trying, it's hard to get them up to that temp on the street.
A little over a year old; purchased from Extreme Power House (invoice available if needed). Just removed and in perfect condition. $430 PayPal'd and shipped in the ConUS.
It would be really interesting to get some empirical data on that. After I ran my first few sessions in my C7Z -- all stock except SRF -- my first thought after getting back in the Supra for a session was "wow... these brakes are effin terrible!". Maybe the CSG are just that much better.
I ran Bridgestone RE-71RS on the stock wheels and they've been a great dual-purpose tire. They work well on the street, in the rain, etc.. On track I find them a little slow to warm up but they have good heat tolerance and they wear well. However, if/when I were to do it again I would go...
I ran at 3 of their events last year and they're a good bang for the buck, IMO. Good amount of track time with 6x 20 min sessions per day and the Blue and Red groups are typically not too crowded with a good pace.
Here's the schedule from the last HPDE I ran; the 2/24 and 3/24 are HPDE...
127MPH :confused1: I was at 115MPH and sketched out and yeah, turn 10 requires ballz.
16-17 was a trouble area for me. Curious how others approach it. I was advised to brake before 15 and then be flat (or as much as possible) through 16-17 but I was much more comfortable essentially trail...
Sounds right but I must not be quick enough to induce it. What tire are you on?
FYI TurnOne just released their 2023 calendar for CMP so I'll be there 2/24, 3/10 and 3/24.
