Did mine last month at High Plains Raceway here in CO, not my first time on track with the car though. Same with us out here, it was lead/follow due to Covid restrictions.
Definitely louder than the Michelins, but that's ok. 425whp on 91, little more on the current E50 tune. I bought them since I plan to track the car more and it's not really a daily, so wanted something that's going to perform a lot better on track.
There's I believe 7 of them here in the Denver area, but you never see them on the roads. Did HPDE at the first NASA event for the season this past weekend and I was the only one there.
Agreed on the E46 M3 part. Past cars were the E36 M3, E39 M5 and spent a good bit of time with the E46 M3. I saw the BMW collaboration as a plus to the car when I learned about it.
Not at all. I knew the Supra was the car I wanted and once I drove it, was sure of my decision. On track handling was great and I think the engine/trans work very well together in that environment. Same for street and canyon driving. Trans seems to always put itself right into the proper range...
Not really bothered by it. I've got the car I wanted and have been enjoying it since day 1. I'm one of those that can't leave things stock so power figures on mine are already well above what the '21 is putting down. The handling complaints I've heard about it from some of these reviews, can't...
Not so much season dependent, just depends on what they produced and filled the tank with. March when I was still on E30, it was at about 78-80%, then has been around 60% the past month and a half (for the station I normally use). Went to fill up today and tested again, 80%.
We are lucky...
I'm on an E50 blend with mine currently. Ethanol locally has been kinda shit lately, with most E85 pumps coming in low. I test mine each time I fill up to make sure I get the mixture mostly correct and then just check it on my Fuel It sensor after. Just because the pump says E85 does not...
