@zrk do you think the flash back to stock+relock via BM3 would have added different dme/ecu information which would trigger the code even though issue was physically fixed? Supposedly.

@zrk Wasn't able to tune, ecu got bricked during flashing, we flashed back to stock and relocked ecu, removing Femto unlock. So technically it's stock other than DP but some serious ecu action went on during past few days.

I know Toyota uses ISTA for diagnostics on Supras, not sure if they also use it to program. But is there a chance the reflash back to stock removed some sort or programing? I don’t think that’s the case because they can’t just program out emissions codes. @zrk bro, sorry to pull you into this...

Flash to stock and lock. They're not 100% sure. Connectivity issue between phone and dongle probably caused it. I'll stick with wired from now on.

Update for anyone following. Received a bm3 cable and ethernet to usb adapter Hooked up and had issues flashing to stock. Bm3 support remoted in and got the car back. Ripped around for about 60kms and my issue from May, (see my post about EVAP p450 code), came back. I'm not going to back to...

Guess who's back, lol, After a whole ordeal with my bm3 issue, (car sat for 3 weeks plus), I drove her around, put about 30kms and CEL came on. Scanned and it was the same EVAP code. But no sound. I'm not going back to Toyota at this point.

So the final result is that i'll be flashing back to stock and relocking the ecu. It will have to go back out to Femto for another unlock. I'm waiting on the cables before I even attempt anything else. Your're 100% right. There's no blame here, my lesson is to stick with wired connections...

1st update. Going to wait for bm3 cable so Protuningfreaks can remote in and see what the issue is. Suggested I delete the app, run a fresh copy, forget the bm3 network, (which i've done multiple times), and screen cap the wifi settings. Weird part is on android i'm not able to see after...

Android user here. But thinking back to all other tuning applications I've used, lt1 edit, hp tuners, hondata, always wired. We'll see what happens with protuning freaks tomorrow. Either I'll be stage 2, back to stock or sitting on 60k c.a.d paper weight. Ill keep everyone posted.

I removed all other wifi connections from network history, forget all. I think that's probably what happened as well. It drops and reconnects periodically. Ugghh

I connected it exactly in that order. There all tight and I started the car up before flashing and let it run for a bit.

It really does seem like a bm3 issue. And I originally wanted to go mhd. The whole custom rom thing was too well advertised. Thanks for the support.

EPC reached out to me said it;s likely just bm3 that failed, could be wifi related, etc... going to wait for bm3 and see if they can remote in and see what needs to be done. I didn't flash back to stock so the Femto unlock should still be there. A few deep breathes and positivity until then, lol

My issue seems different because I can't seem to read the ecu data anymore. I can't start the car at all, and getting drivetrain malfunction. See attached. Sorry for the image overload.

Yes, diagnostic mode. Using the new v3 dongle. I don't have a cable I went straight for the dongle for ease of use. I wish I hadn't. If I get a cable i'm just going to use a laptop, no more phones. But i'm really concerned the ecu is bricked.

The BM3 software just says femto unlock required even if it's unlocked.

Full ecu details won't show up anymore.

I dont understand why it failed at 2%, literally everything was going well. Any other suggestions? I've email bm3 but doubt anyone will reach out to me now.

So I just got my ecu back, installed it back correctly, connected everything amd started car, no issues, let her idle, no problems. Connected it to a battery tether, came back, connected back to Bm3, the gonlight was green and I logged in and downloaded the multimap. Started the flash process...
