Recently flashed stage 2 OTS multimap and was running the 93 octane map. I knew the car wasn't pulling as strong as it could. Didn't get ant CEL's or messages on dash. I haven't logged yet. This code did come up. 1355501 Valvetronic threshold. Only mods are AA DP on my 2021 with 8900 miles. Is...
Mixed reviews. I've read and heard Shell 91 is no good. It was almost as good if not better than 94 Petro many years ago. When I was tuning my Type R with a well known Honda tuner, he had mentioned that the logs were showing very good results with Petro 94. Whatever works for you. I'd say log...
Not sure where you're located. I'm in Montreal. Some of the pumps on island have hit E10 on my friends flex fuel counter. And there was no E in the tank prior. Let's agree on 5 - 10 % :)
@BrettMRC did you try forgetting all your previous WiFi networks as suggested by zrk? This worked for me but I ran into another issue later on.
This was before the firmware update as well. I've stuck to cable and laptop for all tuning now. After bricking my ecu once I won't chance wireless...
That's a pretty hot day. For me that's 31'C. Hot hot! She'll definitely do better in a lower temp environment. I knew the numbers would be somewhere between 420 to 460 on pump gas. We run 94 octane here in Canada and has about 10% ethanol in it. I hope my numbers will be around there even though...
CustomRom allows for changes to all parameters, timing, fuel, boost. I'd imagine there are tables to edit and adjust fuel trim, injector/pump duty cycles. It's not really a "partial" unlock anymore with the addition of customRom. Honestly not sure what advantages ecutek would have at this point...
Thanks bro,
I'm running the stage 2 multimap and mainly running 93 . I set 1st gear to 20% reduction and 2nd to 10%. I'll see how that goes and adjust accordingly. I'll be switching out stock tires for some NT555R's in the back. If no slip i'll reduce the reduction next flash.
Thanks for this, I felt the OEM burbles before flashing were just fine, but clearly OEM in the BM3 settings is just not the same OEM, OEM. It's something else.
Ouuf, I reflashed the multimap with burbles all set to OEM on all 4 maps and it was actually louder than the default setting. Small rev in normal mode sounded like a frickin gun shot!
Not cool. I'm setting it to "disabled" on all 4 and going reflash. Hopefully this helps.
I'm thinking to apply these settings to one of the 4 maps on the stage 2 multi map and see how it effects everything. This seems like a fancy "foot" controller.
Is it necessary with stock tires? I think yes
Is it necessary with sticker tires? Not sure
Has anyone experimented with this feature on BM3 OTS maps? Are the suggested numbers, (20 - 30% 1st gear), (10 - 20% 2nd gear), too much of a hit? Any sweet spot numbers from your personal experience?
I just flashed stage 2 OTS bm3 on 2021 with customRom. My car has a AA DP high-flow. By default it doesn't pre-select anything for certain settings. So by default it doesn't have cold start and I noticed the idle to be a little rough without it. Definitely going to reflash with that setting back on.
That's what isn't clear. What default? default OEM? Or default BM3?
It must be random because "choose" for Cold start ended up being off but for OEM it's on. Things like EWG, i'm not going to even touch that stuff.
Basically I have edited the burbles, set OEM for all the maps, except 1, set...
