Torque by Gear ( Reduction %)

Has anyone experimented with this feature on BM3 OTS maps? Are the suggested numbers, (20 - 30% 1st gear), (10 - 20% 2nd gear), too much of a hit? Any sweet spot numbers from your personal experience?

I'm thinking to apply these settings to one of the 4 maps on the stage 2 multi map and see how it effects everything. This seems like a fancy "foot" controller.

Is it necessary with stock tires? I think yes
Is it necessary with sticker tires? Not sure

I most certainly tried it so long ago I believe was 1st gear 30% on stg1 93oct. No other mods and kept it there.
Look for "boost by Gear" as well.

Start light, like 10% in 1st and 5% in second and make some hits. Some cars on E with a lot TQ dialed into their tunes are doing 30% in first and 15-20% in second. I little bit of spin is okay. It's a great feature, and if you Dragy your car, you will see an improvement.

I'm running the stage 2 multimap and mainly running 93 . I set 1st gear to 20% reduction and 2nd to 10%. I'll see how that goes and adjust accordingly. I'll be switching out stock tires for some NT555R's in the back. If no slip i'll reduce the reduction next flash.

I'm running the same but with a Pure 800. As soon as I get a custom tune I will need a little more reduction. You will not need any reduction with the Nitto's, that's a great tire.
