They way I see it (and I’m generalizing): ICE cars are currently the best they’ve been in the history of time EVs are currently the worst they’ll ever be I’m just enjoying ICE while we can and will hop into EVs when I have to. I’m in no rush to adopt.

I don’t disagree, but I do believe that the parts bin approach has contributed to BMW’s increasing reliability, including the shared-with-SUVs-B58 that we have in the Supra. There’s a lot not to like about the M2, but the S58, M-brand (despite being diluted), back seats if you require it, etc...
