Applicable only because of the continuing obstacles to both MY21 locked MKV's as well as most upcoming vehicles. Plus it's a good noob overview of tuning and a fun waste of 20 minutes. :D
You can't have all those lakes without having a ton of stagnant (or near enough) water around. We don't have those problems here... just miles and miles of UGLY as far as the eye can see. ;)
I don't like mosquitos, but I'd like to see a color other than tan one of these days... I hear it's...
Uh yeah... calling BS on that (them, not you obviously). I understand what the BMW acceptable levels are per the manual... but really? They also stipulate a 10K mile interval in the same manual.
Maybe that's how they can justify that interval... after all you'll have added 9qts during that...
I'd say if any spacers were used, it would be just on the rears. Plus you don't have to worry as much about the heat issues discussed as those will be much cooler (and are smaller anyway).
Maybe it's just the picture, but it looks like the rears could use 10mm or so to have the same look as...
The thing that gets me is when there is a whistleblower inside a company (or country) - those same executives (or bureaucrats) lose their shit about the "traitor" and immediately fire (or imprison/execute) said individual.
It's all well and good if you're turning in car tuners, tax evaders, or...
Weird how that works huh? Pg 153 to be exact... although if you don't search for it... I can understand giving up after 30+ pages on the seats and seat belts.
Why both the HUD and the dash displays aren't user configurable is stupefying. In the times before LCD displays were integrated into everything from fast food menus to washing machine controls that is fine... but the dash and HUD should have at least as much configuration as the nav console...
If they could bring it to market for around Taycan money (which is already ridiculous) then it would be interesting to say the least. Concept cars are almost always amazing... while production versions are 95% trash by comparison. Although I guess if it's a Porsche production car, I'd drop...
I feel the same (re:Tesla) but I think part of that is inherent bias rearing it's head. Especially in the press I feel like there's a ton of "hoping for failure" going on. So I guess no more biased than they are on basically every topic then. :D I had to pay for Nitro yellow as well so I won't...
Unless you weigh 200+ lbs more than he does... you've got him by nearly a half-ton on the weight side - so I'd guess as long as you're over ~525HP you might even gap him decently. In any case, I don't think you have too much to worry about... unless it's him not being able to stop all of that...
Nice Princess Bride reference.
I previously didn't think that at all... but the way things are going in the world these days - maybe every car that's actually been manufactured will be a collectible... :D If nothing else, the parts alone are appreciating like crazy these days.
Had it happen on my RC-F going 5mph over a speed bump (@ ~3K miles)... but so far the MKV has survived. Safelite should handle everything though - when Lexus did my replacement, that's who actually did it (on the Lexus lot).
The stiffer the chassis, the more likely it is for slight variances to...
@NitroYellowMKV - that's always been my problem with Tesla. They make fantastic "concept cars" that you can actually buy and drive... but I've heard so many horror stories that I wonder if the final tally is even in the environment's favor with them. Sure you've got zero carbon emissions...
Although I disliked a great deal about the car... I quite enjoyed the Mark Levinson setup in my 2016 RC-F. I hated the infotainment system itself however, because it was such a huge step down from my 2010 G37S in terms of usability and lacked the 60GB "Music Box" hard drive for audio files...
Yeah I'm sure they'd fight it... although I'm not sure what better options you've got. I'd probably just look for a reputable tuner in your area to go through it, and either properly tune it (and diagnose any other issues) - or replace everything back to stock and try with Toyota.
If it's a...
Despite being worse in US than in many parts of the world - a dearth of competent, willing employees is a secondary problem. It's likely when many of those plants reopen they will be under-staffed as well... which further contributes toward "lean" operations in the near future.
So the choices...
Agree and actually was just discussing the (very expensive) options for deletion in a different thread. Although if that's the worst thing to you, I guess it's safe to say you love the car?
