I just meant that even if I replaced the hatch with the Seibon (or other) and had a perfectly smooth rear end ? - I'd still have a badge on the front (nose) and many of the CF replacements I looked at still had the oval indention there. So tons of money spent and only one badge "dimple" solved.
Well, I can't say my RC-F didn't have that option (though it was almost $30K more expensive) - but even on the highest setting, it literally did nothing other than make noise. That was definitely more irritating than it's omission on the MKV. And that's coming from someone who regularly drives...
If it weren't for the fact that it would still look a little odd with the oval in relief, I'd consider getting just the color matched backing plate with nothing on it for mine... then just either leave it or put a vinyl logo on it. Would be much easier to clean at least.
If it weren't so...
Unsure if it was a Toyota dealership you bought it from but if it was, you should be fine either way taking it there. After all, if they tried to deny coverage based on a tune and modifications that were not disclosed at time of sale, they'd be in a bad position either way. Not that they...
And that's if they ever make it to market in any significant quantity at all considering Nissan also cut their production targets for the foreseeable future.
Edited for error - they didn't specify exactly how much... could be more than half... or much less. :dunno:
I agree, but I think the factory badges protrude too much as well. I do think these monochrome replacements look cleaner in this case. Nocturnal benefits the most IMO. I just wish they'd put adhesive-only ones on and left flat panels underneath... then I'd completely debadge the whole thing...
Totally normal... with any new car. Throttle response in our 4Runner spanks the crap out of the RC-F, RX350, and the MKV. The trend was already in place with the 4Runner of course, but with fewer gears it has much less impact. Now that almost every automatic has 7+ gears and drive-by-wire...
Unfortunately (or fortunately in your case) those are about the only chips that the US is still manufacturing. Outsourcing everything was a great idea wasn't it?
IKR? I'd almost rather had the ridiculous "barn doors" console in the Z4... although that's terrible as well. Although I generally avoid taking beverages in my car at all - when I do it always requires 2-3 tries to get it. It's really only good for holding change or my sunglasses - since the...
The thing I hate the most about the Supra is... other drivers on the road. ;) But seriously, the gauges are pretty trash and the audio is too.
Maybe I'm just getting used to the "new normal" however - because it still seems pretty great for the price. I mean you can easily spend 60K these...
That's so weird @AustinGRSupra - if it weren't for the issues disappearing with the antigravity replacement, I'd be positive there was something else causing this. Way too many to be a manufacturing issue too.
My battery was signaling replacement when I took delivery (it was one of the...
Not to mention that even if it was "insurance repaired" - it would still definitely be a buyer beware scenario. That said, I don't believe it for a second... no adjuster would bother on that - especially in this market where parts (and employee) shortages are increasing repair costs by the day...
Naturally, so there's enough wiggle room to not set legal precedent in cases where they decide to honor the warranty regardless. At a guess if it becomes known that you have 1M subscribers to your youtube channel or 1M followers on FB... then you can probably shove a stick of dynamite in your...
Yep, this was 100% of the apprehension I had when previously considering the OEM+ solution. The problem isn't as much a lack of impact or extension of the sub-bass... it's the 100Hz-500Hz region that needs the most help. Even at 300Hz, you're talking about ~4 foot wavelengths (45.2 inches)...
And my warranty claim was denied because of that sweet hood scoop I was rocking. ?
Sadly the days of being a city that never sleeps are long over with the Californication in the last 10 years. When I was 21 however (back in the 90's) - yeah, the party usually didn't start until midnight and...
Kinda makes my point for me... but I'm good with being insane then. Although, I guess if I'm stalking a dude in a bar... you know something about me I've never known myself. ? Of course someone having an Instagram sticker on their car wouldn't mean I'd refuse to ever talk to that person...
Thanks! Naturally, I have very few - but I'm cool with that, quality over quantity and all. It's not so much the issue of social media itself (after all - this forum is a form of social media under a broad definition). It's the fact that there seems to be a significant majority that feel the...
This is why friends I might potentially have get hard ghosted the second they ask for social media contacts. You think I'm on Twatter or Farcebook?!? Lose my number.
