I just assume an intake only adds noise. These days intakes are so well designed, aftermarket ones don't add any power, and sometimes even lose power.
They get you by "dyno proven gains" BUT that's a dyno run right after the battery has been disconnected and the car is running slightly richer...
100% yes. EPA killed the rotary. In fact, if you connect the taillights and throw a 350 horsepower rotary in front, the Supra would be a perfect modern day FD lol.
I haven't driven the 2.0 (obviously) but a different feel could easily be the lesser suspension that comes on it.
If you fill up and put a 200 lbs driver in each, the weight difference between both cars is 5-6%. Now I'm sorry, but unless you're a professional racing driver, you're not going to...
Don't forget the trunk mat :p
I don't like wraps. You think it's blue, then you open the door or the hood and it's a different color. I think it's tacky. Like "widebody" kits that get bolted on like it's a Chevy S10.
A good wrap is what? 4k? So I have to buy a Premium '21 at MSRP, add 4k for a...
Update: got an email from the dealership, my A91 is NOT on the ship with the first 400, in fact, none of those 400 are A91 editions according to them.
They offered me a Premium floor model at $47k but I'm gonna wait for the A91. What's a couple more months right?
If the Supra was as exclusive as the GT-R, It would be $100k+ and most of us wouldn't be able to afford her.
Toyota learned from the NSX "failure" and went the other way. And I'm glad they did. Toyota could've called the LFA the Supra too. So exclusive you'll never see one driving on the road.
I understand what you're saying, but I'm sure the weight difference between an LS engine and a 13b rotary is much bigger than the 2.0 and 3.0 BMW blocks. In the FD the LS would also completely upset the balance of the car, where the balance in the 3.0 Supra is near perfect. That's why the BRZ is...
You're not gonna notice the difference in the weight. If it all came off the nose, then maybe. But the weight comes from all over the car. All you're gonna notice is the lack of power, braking, and handling since the 3.0 has upgraded parts in every department. The only place the 2.0 makes sense...
Which is a good thing. Means there's no additional turbo lag "some" car reviewers said there would be because of the lower compression. So it drives the same as the '20 it just pulls slightly harder.
I personally think, in this economy, and the coming recession, leasing is the better option. I'm leaning towards that myself so in 3 years I'm open to get in a GRMN Supra (if there is one) or something else entirely.
