The base stage X flash changes a lot of things plus gives you defaults for tunable parameters like shift points and what not. You can then go tweak those tunable parameters as you desire, but if you go back and flash a different stage I believe it will reset everything to the defaults.

Small accents in carbon look good (lips, spoilers, etc.). Large replacement panels like fenders, hoods, etc. look bad in full carbon and should be painted IMO.
I can't speak for other setups, but I can say that the AA downpipe + HKS Super Turbo catback has zero drone in normal mode at any speed. In sport mode there is some drone right at 2k RPM, but above and below that is fine, or you can switch to normal mode and it disappears.
