I love when people say the Supra is overpriced. There isn’t a cheaper car with under 4.0s 0-60 that isn’t a value oriented muscle/pony car.
(Atleast here in the US, I understand the Supra is way more expensive overseas)
So what makes you think this time will be different? The higher performing motor will suddenly perform worse when in the Supra as opposed to other BMW models?
Your agreement doesn’t take into account engine tuning and transmission tuning. The Z4 is a GT car and tuned less aggressively. This is...
Of course it’s his opinion about the car and his opinion that it was a waste of money. I am just saying he is biased against the car and his review lacks substance.
You probably scrolled over it earlier but I did respond to that review by saying, “I truly respect journalists like this. Not only...
I am not doubting that he doesn't have his reasons, but saying things "I thought it was impossible for a car to be so bad" is not characteristic of someone I would consider open minded especially when it follows the statement "It's a BMW anyway, it's a waste of money."
I truly respect journalists like this. Not only was he able to point out the good things about the car, he breaks down the bad things and and what makes them bad.
That is not what I said, I just think that he is a victim of nationalist pride.
He says the supra is "slow, cant stop and cant turn." But by what measures? The supra has the same stopping distance as the 2018 GTR from 70-0 in Car and Driver tests and no one says it is can't stop. He says it...
@Z8AKU
You can't disprove this. You can't argue this. To say that the 2021 Supra doesn't have the B58D would be saying that Toyota is straight up lying.

That Z4 is Euro...
No need to be a smart ass.
There are mechanical differences, even Toyota said there was in their press release. The Z4 M40i dyno has been posted here numerous times and makes more power than the 2020 Supra’s because of these differences.
There are about 10 coupes for $40k+ with 250hp 4 cylinders showing that not everyone buying a coupe cares about its value proposition.
Why wouldn't they buy the 2.0? I don't see why someone would spend $10k more for the 3.0 just to remove it
Maybe I am just skeptical but why would they post 217 ft-lbs to their instagram when they show a run with 225 ft-lbs in their video? Maybe they are just impression farming, because they know they will be the first to report on it since the embargo has not been lifted yet IIRC
