I also thought Iâd miss the valve, but if you want the AWE to be quiet you just drive in chill mode. Boom, problem solved. HKS is cool too, though, so you canât lose.
I passed on the âfree serviceâ to avoid the hassle of dealing with incompetence. Other than the brake recall (software), Iâve only gone to my indy BMW shop for maintenance and upgrades.
Pads and fluid for sure, other than that, if youâre new to the track, just get plenty of seat time. Sheâs plenty of car out of the box for most drivers. In time youâll need tires and 200tw is a fun but unnecessary luxury. As your skills progress youâll know when itâs time to do other mods. Send...
@Supra_UK_ Such a hard decision. You had the coolest colour, and Iâm sure the memories will last forever. Excited to hear what you end up going with next. Keep us posted, and - whatever you decide - use our forum to decide what oil to run.
Beautiful pics.
Cheers to you!
Iâm 6â3â snd my helmet touches the roofliner. I donât have any trouble turning my head.
It doesnât help with headroom, but replacing the aluminum trim behind the seats with harness bar will give you a touch more legroom.
I mean, a GT4 is one of the few cars Iâd consider over the âpunches above its weightâ Supra. If you have the means, I donât think youâll regret it.
Supra pros: ability to have a GT ride when youâre not in the mood to get after it; that sweet torque.
Everything else goes to the GT4 in my opinion.
LOL, this.
When I got my AWE installed, my indie mechanic asked if I wanted the stock exhaust back. I said no, so he put it in their scrap pile outside the shop. He said it was likely someone would steal it before the scrap people picked it up. 3 years later, itâs still outside the shop!
I bought mine without a test drive. I was waiting to get my hands on one right off the truck in Dec 2020. When the dealer called I had the option to take it for a spin before I signed the papers but - nah - I knew I wanted it right away. 0 regrets.
