IDE rant, not directed at anyone specifically:
Why do so many people assume everyone who participates in vehicle forums is male and in the US? (Not just on this forum). It’s a big world with billions of people with varied backgrounds and experiences. The more people feel comfortable/welcome...
I play this “what other car” game often and always return to how much of a bargain the Supra is. Is a Cayman GT4 really $40k more fun? I doubt it. I’d love to get a chance to thrash one on track for a few days, but IRL, it’s hard for me to justify.
I’m very much in a wait and see mode.
So much we don’t know at this point. I hope it does come to life, and that it’s offered globally.

Once while cruising in normal mode (rare enough for me) and in an unusually mellow manner on a backroad, on a cool day, my car threw a drivetrain malfunction error and went into limp mode. Pulled over, restarted it, all was well. Hasn’t happened since. ?
Ja Verkline appear to offer all the same bits, though some currently say “out of stock”.
I’m not in too much of a rush, but may do it towards the end of winter for next year’s HPDE/autox season.
I suspect it’ll be the last suspension mod I do. Too me the car already feels like it needs...
So being in the market for either SPL or Verkline goodies, any consensus on which one to go with? It seems a handful of people have had SPL parts fail on this platform. Looks like SPL is stepping up to support them, but I wouldn’t want someone to have a failure on track - or on the road.
Am I...
