  1. First time Supra owner, bumpy ride

Everyone's version of bumpy is going to be relative to their own definition of it. In general I'd say that's how it's supposed to be. My wife hates riding in the supra.

Just to throw this out there, I have a set of MCS 2way adjustable shocks that are valved for stock springs that I was going to use for BS class autocross but I'm going a different way with my build. If you're interested in them, shoot me a DM.
  3. The official ask zrk anything thread

I'm going to be using a winch to pull my Supra onto my trailer soon. Since the tow hook isn't centered on the car but the winch is centered on the trailer, what's the best way to keep the car straight? Is it just adjust the steering wheel as it gets pulled slowly or can axle straps be put on the...
  4. Reset Brake Light and Brake Pad Service

If you already tripped the sensor and have the dash light and warning on idrive you have to buy new ones. The context of your post makes it seem as if you already tripped them. The OP did change his sensors, which you did not.
  5. Dog Proofing a Supra / Dog in Supra

Big storage tub does well for smaller dogs. Can wedge it up against the front by moving the seat forward. This is him when he was a young puppy and then when he was a super young puppy before he was mischievous trying to crawl around the cabin. I've got a better harness system worked out for him...
  6. Southeast GR Nasa Day 8/30-9/1(Roebling Road Raceway)

Ah between me thinking you were running RA that weekend I was there last year, you posting about the Barber NASA day, this one and the amount you track I was thinking you tracked with both groups. I'll be sure to post if I do end up signing up for Roebling.
  7. Southeast GR Nasa Day 8/30-9/1(Roebling Road Raceway)

Bro get promoted to a higher DE already, you're way too fast o_O. I'm 50/50 on whether I'm going or not. I don't think I'll end up doing the Barber one you posted about. I need to decide if I want to do my TT provisional weekend at this event, try to do the instructor clinic, or skip all...

What did they tell you to do?

Looks normal to me and I wouldn't consider 158F overly hot either. Above optimal temps but nothing to worry about as long as you know you may need to start braking earlier or reduce corner speed. In the afternoon sessions in June/July in the south I can hit 200-215F near the last 1-2 hotlaps of...

I'm sitting on a fresh set of stock front/rear pads I'll probably never use that I can sell for $220 shipped if you get desperate. Should be a good discount off what you can find online. SOLD I ended up the the same situation as you and basically had Club Racers on order for 4 months and needed...

Speaking of hot brakes, I've got a question about the project mu club racers since it's my first track pad. When they're EXTREMELY hot on track they get really bitey and start to squeal. When they get to that point the brakes are extremely sensitive and seem to grab really well at the slightest...

Great lap, you have a 35 easy on the table, maybe even a 34! Your T12 entry into the hot lap was 5mph slower than your T12 on the way to the finish line. At the bottom of the esses you totally could have stayed on the throttle instead of brake tapping/lifting as well.

I'm a social anti-social, I hate being put in new situations but once I'm comfortable I'm good. I was sad NASA didn't run AMP this year so If NASA doesn't in 2025 I'll consider going with Jzilla. I run one click and on that mode I know mid 1:36 is definitely achievable but it'd take stringing...

I meant track days at any track in general, I don't like Road Atlanta enough to run it more than once a year. As far as other track groups go, I hate having to meet new people and try to make new friends if I went with another group to other tracks. Especially if I have to travel 6-8 hours to...
  15. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I threw down a new PB of 1:37.67 at Road Atlanta with the only change being new PMu Club Racer pads. I'm totally in love with them. Decent street bite and once they're hot on track man do they stick. I definitely could have done later braking and more trail braking with them. I'll need a few...

Yes I rotated them after every two sessions. Only time I didn't was this last weekend when they put 1 early session and the next 2 sessions only had a 20 minute break between them. At the end of the day it had very slight chunking but no cords, so for Sunday I put that tire on the passenger side...
  17. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Just finished mine off this past weekend so for reference, here are my fronts after 8 track days (4 sessions per day) and I'll need to replace them before next event since one is now corded. Plenty of inside tread depth left.

The wear pattern is right on the top of the triangle and the two little dots that are to the right and left are nubs instead of still being pokey so you're just about right. Nothing more you can do besides add camber eventually so keep doing what you're doing. You could try dropping 1-2 more PSI...
  19. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Show us a side view so we can see how far down the sidewall it's been worn. With stock camber I adjust my PSI based on that. What PSI are you running? I'm running the same ones on my front and tend to start at 26-28 PSI on an ambient temp day around 70-80 degrees which puts my hotlap around...
