  1. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Spoke with previous owner and he's given me great advice on what to do and will let me bug him with any questions I have, love having supportive local drivers. I also went to NCM this past weekend and used those tires I mentioned previously. I had 3 months of rust to shake off and confidence in...

I'll upload some pics when I get home. Yes they're Tolleson's MCS he was selling so I should be able to get them fully legal but I don't care too much about being nationally legal, just close enough that my local competitors won't care but I reap the benefit of better suspension for the track.
  3. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I picked up a set of MCS 2WR suspension from a someone local to me and was hoping someone here could send me a picture of a fully built front shock. Ideally both uninstalled and installed. Or if I can get some guidance on what all from the OEM shock I need to move over such as this white plastic...
  4. What did you do to your Supra today?

Very different skill sets. Read the course, execute, and refine it to get the best "lap time" within limited runs on a configuration you've never run before. Much tighter car control and you can't recover from a mistake in the same way since elements are back to back where as road courses you...
  5. Weird metal screeching sound just randomly happened as I was driving. Manual A91.

Rock between behind the front rotor and the shield. Reverse for a bit and it might work itself loose, otherwise remove the wheel and look and pry it out with a screwdriver.
  6. What did you do to your Supra today?

Did my first transmission fluid change ever. I found out the hard way the torque wrench I had on hand wasn't going to cut it when I overtorqued one of the pan bolts and broke it. Luckily it wasn't too hard to remove since the bolt threads through an open hole so I could start reversing it from...
  7. Adro Swan neck wing

I'm a bit curious how easy/difficult it'd be to fabricate some replacement aluminum plates to replace the uprights or add a bracket to change the angle of attack even more. Doesn't seem like it'd be all that hard.
  8. KW EDC Cancellation Kit

You've been sitting on these for a while, would you take $350 shipped?
  9. trash site

https://autoparts.worldtoyota.com/ is running 25% off all parts right now if anyone wants to pick up OEM pads for really cheap. I ordered front and rear pads all in for $231.21. Figured I'd go ahead and grab a spare set since the PMu's are still on unknown back order.
  10. ADRO Inc Supra AERO!

Looks like they did list the wing with the taller uprights so you don't have to buy them separately. Same price as the original height wing. https://www.adro.com/products/toyota-gr-supra-a90-at-r2-v2

Maybe 3 to 4 weekends at other tracks then once I finally went to RA it took 1 day but I had put in a few hours on asetto corsa to pick my initial braking zone. Using a sim will really get you comfortable with picking and executing braking zones. Easy one to start with is the motul sign then...

Not OEM, it's square titan 7 ts5 at 18x10.7. I actually have been running kuhmo v730s 275 or 265 depending up front. Can't really say on those cause my 275s I corded from rubbing the front fender liner due to rockingham speedway having really rough transitions from oval to infield so I only got...
  13. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

These are the rears and are 295/35/18 with 1.9-2 degrees neg camber(oem)
  14. ADRO Inc Supra AERO!

I agree, I wish it swept back like the original uprights. Looks like it's in addition to the cost of the original wing+original uprights. Hopefully they make another option that is tall uprights+wing for a better price.
  15. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I am amazed as well because I matched by PB from last June when they were fresh this past Dec with the same rears. Not peak but they are definitely serviceable. My other set of wheels for autox with the same tires I've run for 10-12 events and they're still great. From the previous season, after...
  16. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Think I can sneak another weekend out of these rears (RE71-RS)? I've got 9 days on them so far, approximately 35 20min sessions.
  17. NASA @ Mid-Ohio May 25th through 26th

https://members.drivenasa.com/events/4433 - Since you'd be registering as a regular person instead of through the Toyota program do this. Register an account, pick the May 25/26 option at the top, and since you are new choose your driving class as HPDE1. Then scroll down and click register and...
  18. Southeast GR Nasa Day coordination (Barber Motorsports Park)

I'll see if I can squeeze in that date but I'll probably make the decision closer to Sept/Oct. If you're signing up separately then it's better to do full weekend. $579 for two days. https://members.drivenasa.com/events/4578. It also depends on what run group you're cleared for. DE1 typically...

FYI P-Mu Club racers are still on indefinite backorder. I was going to buy a set of rears and I called the vendor I ordered my fronts with back in Nov and they said still no ETA and they have orders still open from August. I told them I'm not in a rush and to keep the order in. I didn't end up...
  20. What did you do to your Supra today?

Thanks, I remember you mentioning you thought something was up with the diff at a previous event, I suppose that's what it was. I do maybe 8-10 days a year so sounds like I should give it a check at the beginning and end of season and if I start to feel anything weird.
