This is a great sign that Toyota is moving in the right direction with concept-to-production. It's setting expectations and delivering on them. We should see more of this trend from Toyota in the coming months and years. Finally!
The TRD seats was one thing I didn't want to give away in the comments until after the reveal. So sick!!!
I've never seen this in a production car tbh....only in race cars:
F150 is a full-sized truck, not in the same segment as the Tacoma my friend.
However, the Maverick and Ranger are....and just keep an eye on those prices as soon as the Tacoma hits the lots.
I can't say I didn't know....but, there are still a few "interesting tid-bits" Toyota is leaving for the unveil.
This truck is going to kick-off (what I believe will be) a price war between manufacturers in this segment. Once the new Tacoma is out....Chevy, Ford, Nissan, etc... will be...
Yes and No….the electronic aids I agree, would not work with a manual very well. However, the suspension and gear associated with the suspension that only come with a TRD Pro would pair up nicely with a manual. I will say, after owning a 2dr 6spd JL Rubicon, I don’t think I want a manual 4x4...
Rumor is 300hp+ 300lb/ft+ 4cyl Turbo Hybrid (TRD & Trailhunter). I had heard that a front and rear lockers would be available on TRD and Trailhunter, but I am not sure about this. 6spd manual is confirmed as an option. I haven’t heard anything on 10spd auto, but I’m sure at least a 8spd will...
I had posted a while back from reputable sources that several aftermarket companies were involved in the Tacoma’s development. Turns out its true, Toyota has ARB offroad gear to be included from the factory. This is great!
Also, the information I received that different variations of the 4cyl...
“IF” this is the new Tacoma TRD Pro, im putting a deposit…

If you can pickup a new/used ICE powered vehicle now….do it!!! I recently purchased a 1989 Raider SWB (aka Pajero), and am doing a Lexus V8 swap and restomod. I just can’t see myself in a EV anytime soon….maybe in 15-20yrs.
True, there is nothing wrong with wearing Porsche stuff (or any brand at that). My point was that trendy brands (no matter where you slap the logo onto) will sell....even if it means slapping it on a shirt that costs $2 to make. Its all about the image.
Unfortunately, trends overtake actual performance nowadays. In Scottsdale, there are so many “enthusiasts” who wear Porsche gear (polo’s, fleeces, sunglasses, hats, watches, etc…) and will tell you everything about a Porsche (on paper)…yet most don't own a Porsche.
Brand marketing has...
I've preached this so many times, and people critized me. Hydrogen is key! The only problem is no energy company wanted to invest in it (I mean, I get it....why would an oil company shoot themselves in the foot right?). Korean companies are advancing in the Hydrogen arena, and once Japan and...
The M2; weighs substantially more than MKV, proven to make more HP on the dyno than advertised, has a nicer interior than the MKV, four seats (not that the back seats matter), latest tech inside vs. the MKV, and TWO TURBO's vs MKV's ONE.
The MKV; still faster than the M2, looks better than the...
