When I said Toyota wasn’t going all in with EV’s, no one believed me. Toyota is super smart folks, like quantum computation smart! What they are doing is buying time until a new administration arrives. EV’s are not cost effective or practical for the everyday consumer. They know this! So...

US isn’t first, second, or even third place in terms of countries who have adopted EV’s and high utilization. Our electrical infrastructure (like many other developed countries) wasn’t designed with cars and trucks as a primary or in some areas even secondary means of transportation. A home...
Maybe it was Californians and not folks in Mexico and South America screaming, "why aren't we allowed to charge our EV's between 8am and 5pm!!" I would double check that. Lol.
I just want to start off by saying, "Thank you Mr. Toyota! This is the reason I will only buy Toyota's moving forward."
Secondly.......I was right again. Lol. When everyone was on the bandwagon of "everything will be EV's in blah blah blah." I knew Toyota was holding back, not because EV's...
I agree, there should be no place for this type of intervention in automobiles. This initially started as feature downloads service several years back (i.e., remote starter through subscription, Over the Air GPS maps updates, etc...) and has since taken on a whole different purpose. Why do you...

This is why I became a software developer. I knew years ago that one day every aspect of our everyday lives would be somehow controlled by computers. You want to hear something wild....imagine every car having a "digital signature" unique to that vehicle that is tied directly to your...
By now we should all have learned our lesson that when Toyota says "No" it means "Yes", and when they say "Maybe" it means "Yes", and when they say "Yes" it means "Yes."
Toyota is very hush hush about their R&D work, I know this 110%....and most (if not all) of the time, when they are pursuing...
Rumor is the next gen T4R will be between $49k starting up to $69k top tier….that’s for a T4R!!! For a limited production sports car (aka A100), I wouldn’t be surprised if it stickers for $75k+ starting (no goodies). Until we get our inflation under control, it will be tough buying a car...

They have a few “heavy hitters” involved in the R&D for the next motor. It’s definitely not a “Toyota only” involvement ;). I like Toyota’s direction with this because it will continue to make the “A100” more exclusive and still be competitive.
In all honesty, I want to see the interior...
