Based on previous updates / other ppl taking this update where it is a smaller jump, do we have any idea how many of these things are from the most recent 3/24 update vs which ones are spread out across the 2.5 years of updates before that?
I jumped from some 2021 version (car had never been...
Elitism from Toyota or owners? I don't think I've really seen anyone acting precious about the 45th edition around here, save one infamous person that is banned now anyways, and one other guy who kept saying it was the "top end spec" (lol wut?) to justify why he was using it for price comparison...
I *think* there are 3rd party adapter devices out there that can bridge / proxy Android phones to CarPlay. I can not vouch for how well any of these work - some of the ones referenced below have pretty shitty ratings on Amazon and the descriptions are hard to understand, but it appears they...
Random question about this: if you pull disable the valve, does this cause non-cold startups to roar the exact same as when you start the car already in Sports mode? Or is the startup roar a software thing based on the mode and it still sounds different but just louder since the valve is open...
+1. I have race ramps, and I do like them better than a normal jack for doing non-wheel stuff, however they are expensive and in retrospect I wish I had just got a QuickJack.
Arguably, you're paying an extra 8K on the Supra for very little in this case, just "limited edition" and a vinyl stripe and (according to most people) a sub-par spoiler.
The real cross shop here is 58K 3.0 Premium Supra vs 63K Nismo Z.
This just continues to make me mad as it highlights how much space there is yet how little they do with it. Would kill for tachometer or blind spot indicators in the HUD...
Thanks - was curious because it looks different than the others for sale as it includes the bottom of the tray (ie: matches the OEM part exactly) while most the others are just open on the bottom - maybe they are just covers that go on top instead of replacing?
I'll chime in as another weirdo who likes the 45th Anniversary wang. I prefer modest and tastefully understated wang vs big, showy wang.
Anyways, has anyone managed to mount one of these to a non-45th? I figure it might be possible to get one of these for cheap (possibly free, lol) if anyone...
Yea agree with this - it should be standard. I tend to still do over the shoulder checks, but I can only see a tiny bit out of the passenger porthole (enough to tell if there is a car there) and if I have a passenger then I can't see jack shit.
Do NOT blindly rely on this, it often does not pick up the curb. Sometimes it does, but at least around where I live, it only seems to pick it up like half the time. If I relied on this feature, I'd probably have destroyed the front lip by now. Wish the car had a front parking camera.

This. They care about making money, not lineage. They will do whatever market research tells them to do as far as naming goes.
I mean, just look at Ford and the Mustang... now the name is on a fucking SUV lol
