I know this is from 2.5 years ago… but came across it. Did you ever pick them up? I’m interested in them if I need to run 5 mm spacers on track with a square set up
  3. SPL front lower control arm clearance issue

so they revised a part that had nothing wrong with it, and only broke due to improper installation. So they’re basically saying…. this new bolt can’t be installed incorrectly, and therefore has no chance of breaking.
  4. SPL front lower control arm clearance issue

Yeah maybe the standard bolt is shorter now, and that’s been corrected. Would be nice if their customer service would provide some context in their email responses
  5. SPL front lower control arm clearance issue

Did they get back to you? I asked them, and they said there is only 1 length offered…

Seatbelt locker actually works really well. It’s called seatbelt extender pro on Amazon. Got the idea from this video:
  7. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I’m actually pretty impressed! Great options for those with stock seats. Padding is firm, material is good, and the rubber in the middle is non-slip.

@FLtrackdays That’s helpful.. those specs sound about what I was thinking, except maybe starting with medium or soft firmness on sway bars. I’ve done 3 autocross and 5 track days with the car in stock form, and now just purchased suspension/brake mods. What do you guys recommend for a base set up? I got all the SPL bits, Eibach f/r sway bars, MSS adjustable springs, and endless mx72+ pads + fluid. I have new PS4S tires in stock...

they must buy those from SPL… they’re identical
  15. Chassis rigidity improvements

I didn’t even know there was another player in the game besides SPL and Verkline making suspension arms.
  16. NVH of solid bushings on suspension

I’ve been doing a deep dive on this as I’m preparing to upgrade my suspension. The main solid bushings that I’d say are in the “other” category are motor mounts, transmission mounts, rear subframe bushings, and rear differential bushings. Differential, motor, and transmission mounts/bushings...
  17. SPL bushings or Verkline castor arms

SPL makes full caster arms (the front upper control arms) for several BMWs, but not for the Supra. Instead they only have the adjustable castor bushings. Verkline does make these arms, but that will cost you about $600 more than the SPL bushings. Some benefits of the verkline castor arms are...
  18. Opinions on ride height

Do MSS springs not have rear bump stops and dust boots? I guess that makes the rear install really quick because the strut doesn't need to removed. Anybody know the rationale?
  19. SPL install tips

Ok... thanks for confirming that is a real thing haha. Maybe I'll just have the shop do these bushings when I take it there for suspension tuning and alignment. Thanks, very helpful!
  20. SPL install tips

Ok, that makes sense, thanks! Did you consider the caster bushings? I read some people needed them with aftermarket sway bar and LCAs for clearance. I can hardly find anything on the utility/benefit of these. Not cheap, and would need a shop to press them in and out for me
