  1. Address blow-by oil: CCV or PCV Catch Can?

When I had my catch can set up like that (no check valve) connected to the CCV line I got a shit ton of oil in the catch can. When I put the check valve on, I got no oil in the catch can, when I blocked off the ccv line I got smoke from exhaust.
  2. Address blow-by oil: CCV or PCV Catch Can?

The CCV side has a 1 way check valve into the crank case. Some catch cans integrate that check valve into their design and some put a open path into and out of the crank case. I think sticking with the design of the engine is the way to go with the ccv, which would mean no catch can on that...
  3. What did i blow?

Make sure you didn't get access oil in the cylinders by removing the spark plugs and using a borescope camera.
  4. Black Market Race Catch Can

This doesn't seem sealed well to me.
  5. Black Market Race Catch Can

Ouch, you're hurting my feelings 😭🤣. With the quality issues I wouldn't recommend the catch can. I wish I had gone a different direction. I watched a bunchof videos on it and none of them mentioned how loose fitting the PCV line is.
  6. Black Market Race Catch Can

Any of you also notice this is barely right and has a lot of wiggle to it?
  7. Black Market Race Catch Can

You the OEM line to connect to the intake.
  8. Black Market Race Catch Can

That is due to the CCV line with no check valve.
  9. Black Market Race Catch Can

I just have my sensor handing there. The CCV line I'm referencing is connect the from the block to the intake.
  10. Black Market Race Catch Can

Should be pretty similar to their video instructions, you use the lower piece of the CCV tube and block of with hose caps you can buy from a local parts store. Don't use their CCV line, it will cause smoke, just use your OEM ccv line.
  11. Black Market Race Catch Can

I think a lot of people think the CCV line is for venting. I like what Ross Racing has to say on their listing for the valve cover check valve pins. I'm not so sure that blocking the ccv is the correct way to go and I don't think leaving it with the free flowing line from the BMR kit is right...
  12. Bubbling Noise Coming from my Engine Bay on 2021 Supra

Which coolant lines did you bleed, theres two different systems with two different procedures.
  13. Black Market Race Catch Can

I realize I'm no expert, but the OEM ccv line is a one way line into the crank case. The BMR does not reuse this one way fitting. I haven't had any issues with large clouds of white smoke since I installed the check valve at the oil cap, but I'm also going to install one on the ccv line also.
  14. Crankcase ventilation: leakage P04FC/16050A

You can check if your DME is unlocked, but not sure why that would cause the error. Is everything connected correctly to the intake?
  15. Black Market Race Catch Can

At the risk of speaking too soon again, it's been about a week, I haven't gotten any large puffs of white smoke since I installed the check valve on right after the oil cap.
  16. Black Market Race Catch Can

Amazon. Radium has some on Amazon as well, but I went with a cheaper 1.
  17. Black Market Race Catch Can

Looks like I spoke to soon. I drove for about 15 minutes and then stopped to park and got a bunch of white smoke. I put on the one way check valve on for the oil cap. Hopefully that fixes it.
  18. Black Market Race Catch Can

I was getting a lot of white smoke from the exhaust. I did have an Amazon catch can installed. As to why I was getting some, I do not know. But I seems to be gone now.
