I'll compare when I get a chance. Can probably compare the diagrams a bit, but the part numbers will all be different as Toyota assigns their own. Additionally, Toyota only uses line drawings in their parts catalogs, not 3D renders. From a quick glance, things are very similar, but of course...
Haven't had a chance to take a look through it yet, but saw it was released this week, includes the DB23 (30i, B46H) and DB43 (40i, B58).
If anyone has friends at a dealership or has access, take a look. Part numbers are semi-typical PNC-based, xxxxx-WAxxx format. Not like how they did it some...
The emblems Toyota is using on the Supra are what they are using on all Lexus models and will be using on future Toyota models as well. It's just how they're doing things now. Good or bad, it's not unique to the Supra at all.

It's true, if the platform already exists with the B46/48, you might as well go with it instead of using a Toyota engine, especially when it's the budget version anyway (and you're already using the B58 for the top-of-the-line version).
That said, it's not like it's the most difficult thing to...
I saw the car on Tuesday evening during setup, and it didn't add anything to what I had pieced together in my head from all the pictures I've seen. Not that I necessarily expected it to, because I've seen so many pictures, haha. It was also matte grey which isn't a great colour for the car in...
Nissan is making new blocks for the RB.
Toyota still sells new 2JZ blocks, so no need to bring them back. What we need to hope for is that they don't stop. I wouldn't hold my breath on that though.

Rapgard is typically it is applied to horizontal surfaces where stuff falling on it (acid rain, etc.) would be likely to sit and not run off.
My guess is that the adhesive in the rapgard would likely leave "stains" on the matte finish.
The "Toyota" nameplate is on all Supra models sold...
I'll be at the Edmonton show and may go early during the exhibitor setup. Maybe I'll have a stroll on by and see what's happening over at Toyota...

Are we talking about warranty or included maintenance?
Typical BMW included maintenance is 3/36k mi (60k km), while the warranty is 4/50k mi (80k kms).
Toyota warranty is usually 3/36k (60k km). I would expect the warranty period on the Z4 will be 1 year longer than it is on the Supra. Lexus...
They did in the past. Starting with the introduction of hybrid models they moved away from that (RX400h has a 3.3L, RX450h has a 3.5L, LS600hL has a 5.0L, LS500h has a 3.5L, CT200h has a 1.8L, HS250h has a 2.4L, IS300h has a 2.5L, etc.).
When Lexus killed the IS250 in North America, they...
In the past with Scion and other limited edition vehicles for the North American market, the numbered cars usually included Canada and the USA. While there are supposed to be 1500 Launch Edition cars, I suspect (based on random things I've read) that 1200 may be for the USA and 300 may be for...
Yeah, BMW engines are used in the Auris, Avensis, RAV4 and Verso in Europe.
It's possible for other BMW engines to make their way into other Toyota models...
