The emblems Toyota is using on the Supra are what they are using on all Lexus models and will be using on future Toyota models as well. It's just how they're doing things now. Good or bad, it's not unique to the Supra at all. Jeff

Rapgard is typically it is applied to horizontal surfaces where stuff falling on it (acid rain, etc.) would be likely to sit and not run off. My guess is that the adhesive in the rapgard would likely leave "stains" on the matte finish. The "Toyota" nameplate is on all Supra models sold...

Most likely it is a factory covering that is intended to protect the gloss finish on the emblem and not intended to hide the badge. Jeff
