So I saw the Supra in person at Barrett Jackson. When I first approached, I got the feeling it was a Supra. Definitely feels like a Toyota in the presence of it. The size is small, but not too small or too big. I'd say it's perfect in size. Didn't get to sit in it, but got to look at the interior with the doors open. Very premium interior, definitely quality there. I spent about an hour looking over the whole car, checking the quality of rubbers, seals, plastics, etc. All very premium. Body of the car is well designed, sturdy, very high gloss paint job, not too much factory orange peel. The black is indeed like Cosmo black, there is metallic in it. Looks phenomenal in person. Two small gripes: 1. The nose Toyota badge is a cheap and flimsy plastic. Looks like it will fade in the sun rather quickly. 2. The side skirt diffuser is a cheap flimsy plastic. Everything else exterior wise is rock solid. Rims are very beautiful in person on the black color. This was a base Supra with the alcantara seats which looked very nice. Red and white stitching on the interior.
Overall, seeing the car in person is the only way to judge it. It left me very happy and excited. I believe I will definitely buy one next year. The car oozes sportiness and has a very sexy appeal. Speaking with random females that were looking at the car, they absolutely loved it. They couldn't believe it was a Toyota. Many people there didn't know it was a new Supra, but they were flabbergasted to learn that it was. Surprisingly no haters there, no one disliked the car in person, everyone loved it.
