Yeah, it essentially took both manufacturers to make both cars happen. I wouldn't be surprised if the G29/A90 was a one-n-done-production-run. The GT4 concept is very much in it's infant stages primarily because of the lack of factory support from BMW.
Poor James had to film the C8 review at Petersen when the heat wave hit SoCal hence the canopy. I was never a Corvette fan but I'm very impressed with the C8. It hits close to home when he said the interior driver's seat is very fighter jet and driver focused resembling the MKIV Supra.

Sweet! You have the best opportunity! We definitely have some of the best twisty canyons in the U.S. I literally live right across the street from Highland Valley and Palomar is about 25 miles away. :drive:
Copying a 458 or McLaren is a bad thing? Toyota took designs from other cars too; 2000GT->Jaguar E Type, R28 Celica->"Japanese Mustang", MKIV Supra->Ferrari F40
I know right! Everyone tried to test the Supra Vs and the MKIV just kept on going.
This is a new chapter in the Imports vs Domestics but unfortunately, it has an odd twist.
The MKV and the C7/C8 are definitely in competition just like how the MKIV was easily matched up with the C4/C5, M3, 911 Turbo, 300ZX TT, RX-7 TT, NSX...
When the MKV wasn't available, it was still mentioned in comparison with Cayman? Then when they finally did a comparison, the 718...
Not to sound like an ass but even the other cars with Liberty Walk and RB kits don't do anything for me. I'm just more into the clean, simple, sleeper look.
Congrats for being the first, following through with your statements, parts and build but man, that is not my cup of tea.
I had an instant flashback of all the imports with those ugly Veilside kits in the 90's.
