Interesting. Thanks for posting. Mine is not intermittent at the moment, we’ll see if it goes away. If it does I’d strongly expect the water/rain explanation (if it works later that would correlate to the car drying out).

Yeah I understand that it’s reading telemetry. Just odd that they would choose not to indicate the actual speed. I haven’t researched it so I’m not mistrusting the collective experience, I’m simply not familiar with it. Thanks for the lesson.

Can’t say if it does or doesn’t affect the odometer. In more traditional analog odometers, higher speed certainly does impact it and runs up mileage faster. I’d wonder why, if they can make the odometer correctly indicate the distance traveled, they’re unable to make the speedometer display...

Yeah that concerns me. I may take the car with me if they need to source a part. My dealer charges $32 a day for rental car. Not used to that coming from German premium brands with free courtesy loaners...

Just took it out after dark. Headlight on the driver side definitely out as are left indicators and parking lamps. Everything dead on the left. Set up service appointment. Will keep the thread updated as things progress.

I am. It’s super easy - more comfortable than my S4 was. A little adjustment from the lack of space but the drive is perfect.

Got in the car before driving home just now and this popped up before I even started it. Anyone have a similar issue? First rain since I got the car - maybe weather sealing issue?

My point is, I wouldn’t be so quick to assume there’s a new car on the horizon. Nothing would change that drastically and have the same model designation (SPX 40i). I’m highly suspicious of the assertions being made here.

My car had been completely quiet, but I noticed today after it sat in the sun that it had some creaks for a bit after getting underway. Maybe some of the adhesives had softened. It quieted down though. I haven’t really experienced rattles like those being reported here.
