You're right about that! Also the orientation of the spacers at the subframe are not really discussed very clearly. I'm going off of the level sensor bracket orientation and making both sides the same.
So about that God damn level sensor...??
I ended pulling the whole thing off of my car (2X...
Does anyone know how many spacers are required for the replacement ball joints when at stock ride height?
I'm in the middle of installing several SPL parts on my car, and had a question about the front LCAs. I tried sending an email and calling but I was unsuccessful in getting a hold of anyone...
Yup. Mine snapped almost immediately.
I gave up for the day, but I'm going to try your method tomorrow morning.
I'm still at stock ride height. I'm wondering if I need any of the spacers. It looks like it will be closest to the factory LCA with no spacers.
Tomorrow is rear sway bar...
I completely agree with you, running a wing purely for looks is stupid IMHO but people are free to do whatever they want with their cars.
When I do install a wing the only street driving I'll be doing is to and from the track. I don't do car shows or anything like that. My car is dirty most...
The rear parking brake works by actuating an electric motor that clamps the rear brakes to the rotor without hydraulic pressure. It's all integrated into the rear caliper. It's not like a drum brake system that use a cable and springs to grab the inside of the rear rotor.
Unlike street hunter garbage or ebay stick-on spoilers the wing I linked is a highly engineered piece of kit literally designed to make you faster on the track. Many people who seriously track their cars have them or something equivalent.
Spending nearly $4000 on an engineered wing with an extremely high downforce to drag ratio to add effective downforce is hardly "turning the car into a civic".
I love that skid plate Mark. It's very tempting for the roads around here (garbage).
I have a bad feeling I'm going to need a different tune as well once I'm on the track in July and August. Just tooling around a little on some backroads I can feel the car pulling power after a few WOT pulls...

I'm very interested in the "tuner version"
This is a decorative piece. Real aero is functional and the drag to downforce ratio is what people who are in the know are looking for.
I bet you'd honestly be surprised how little drag a functional wing (Verus, Spage, 9 Lives) actually generates, especially at a low AOA.
But hey, just...
Bingo.
Who would have known that adding a big plastic parachute to the back of your car will slow it down (not to mention kill your fuel efficiency). ?
Couldn't really imagine dropping several thousand dollars on something that literally makes the car slower and uglier, but I'm probably not the kind of Supra owner they're trying to sell this to.
