  1. FP Green A90 Turbo

I'm excited to see what they're going to call a Red on this car. That might be the sweet spot on a Supra running 93 on the stock fuel system. Hopefully these FP turbos are more reliable than the Pure offerings have been.
  2. Lowering Springs for daily driving/occasional track use

Holy friggin spring rate! Look at the size of those primary springs! They look like sausages! Vented rotors with vented hats with not 1 but 2 cooling ducts lol. Looks like they slap those temperature witnesses stickers on anything and everything they'll stick to. Damn Bryan, you've always got...
  3. I Love Smoking Big Trucks

That's a lot different than trying to kill someone on the highway with your vehicle because of your insecurity.
  4. I Love Smoking Big Trucks

I deal with asshats daily on my commute. Unfortunately the stereotypes about people from the North East being miserable assholes is pretty well deserved (I can say that because I'm one of them ?). I'd say a solid 80% of the fuckery I see is from small men driving HUGE modified full size...
  5. Lowering Springs for daily driving/occasional track use

I was disappointed too when I heard Gazoo Racing went with KW. There's just so many better options available. MCS 2-way non-remote with Vorshlag camber plates and Ohlins with Millway camber plates are on my shortlist for coilovers when I get there. I'm still exploring what the stock struts...
  6. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

I mean, I've been spinning wrenches for over 25 years now and I've never seen anything like it. Then again this is my first BMW.
  7. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

How did you manage to get a prybar in there? ?
  8. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

One of those times when I should have stopped what I was doing and gone to the hardware store and gotten a better tool. Cursing the Teutonic over-engineering keeps me warm though.
  9. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

Give yourself more time than you think you need. Lots of prying and cursing lol. I've done harder jobs but this was unexpectedly sucky. I had to grind a big old cheap screwdriver down so I could wedge it in between the pistons and the pad.
  10. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

Some bummer news, my wheels aren't going to make it in time. Looks like I'll be rocking the stock wheels with PSSs for a couple HPDEs this year.
  11. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

Good deal! I just signed up for the 21st at Palmer and the 3rd in the afternoon at Lime Rock.
  12. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

Alright, I'm signing up for Palmer on the 21st. Anyone going to LRP with Mass Tuning on July 3rd? I'm taking that week off so the date works well for me.
  13. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

If I wasn't doing LRP on the 12th I'd do it.
  14. Lowering Springs for daily driving/occasional track use

Not for nothing, people who know a lot about these cars have figured out how to make them faster on track while still maintaining their street manners.
  15. If you could will you do it all over again?

What would you have done differently if you don't mind me asking?
  16. What did you do to your Supra today?

I mean if we're going really crazy, the OEM pads have probably a pound per corner of mass added to change their natural frequency and avoid vibration, so that's a pound per corner of unsprung mass shedded compared to OEM. ? I'm sure it'll help me win at my next HDPE! ?????
  17. If you could will you do it all over again?

I've had my 2020 for over 2 years now, and I fall even more in love with her every track day. I'd absolutely buy my Supra again. Really the only thing that's been a drag with this car is the amount of negative attention it gets while commuting and the God awful service from Toyota "Supra Techs".
  18. What did you do to your Supra today?

Because I'm a cheap bastard I guess. ? Honestly the very minor benefits of the Brembo OEM rotors just aren't worth the added cost in my opinion. Especially given that there's at least one track days worth of $$$ delta. Unsprung mass is indeed bad, but there's really not much of a weight...
