Found the thread. I mentioned here that it might be HP fuel bleeding off via the regulator as the fuel line heat soaks and the line pressure goes up.

Someone else has had the same question for a similar noise. Can't remember what the answer was though if there was a conclusive one. Try a search.
Modern cars these days are still electrically "alive" for quite some time after shut down. So on my last 3 cars for example the delay was 45 minutes...
Well done you. I'm the same with PPF in that I can't make the hourly rate V skill V application time matrix add up personally so I do it myself. At the end of the day it's sticky stuff on a car not open heart surgery.

Fitting it up first is a very good idea, pretty much essential really to make sure the fit is correct and any fine tuning is done. It's then a good idea if possible to leave the car in the hot sun for a few days as the glass will "adjust" to a degree with heat. Fitting glass race fairings to...
It's all about the quality of the GRP. If it's straight and free of pin holes etc then it's no issue at all. I've made and painted a fair amount of glass components over the years including fuel tanks and never had an issue. The painter you asked obviously has more work than he can deal with and...
It's "happy place" might just be empty, lol.
There was an old engineers quip about big radial aircraft engines we worked on back when I started in aviation. You only worry about engine oil leaks when it doesn't have any because that means it's run out.

From these images if it's leaking from a seal it' appears to be the half shaft/drive shaft seal not the input/tail shaft shaft seal your tech mentioned. I'd still be looking at the oil level though. If it's venting oil from the breather it still may be running down and getting blown around by...
Diff hot is not essential, the manual just has to cover every safety possibility. I would just put the car on the hoist/jacks and give it an hour or so for the heavy weight gear oil to drain off the gears and housing internal walls in the diff and settle then pull the fill/level plug and see if...
I looked at it as well and it's not overly complex but you need the tools as pointed out. I'm an advocate of not going places mechanically if it's not absolutely necessary as even the simple jobs can turn ugly from time to time. You'll know as soon as the fill plug comes out if it's overfilled...
Personally if it were me with the history of overfilling and venting I'd Pull the fill/level plug and see if it's overfilled and if it is let it drain to the fill/level port 6 o'clock clean the whole thing down with solvent and monitor it before I let the tech loose on a pinion shaft seal...
As a general comment from someone that buys a ton of stuff for motorcycles from overseas suppliers I have experienced a few businesses that sell the "second grade" stock to foreign buyers. No doubt hoping the that the return process is so onerous that the buyer won't bother with the return and...
