You really need to calculate MPG over a whole tank of gas. Short trips or even a couple hour trips are really only going to show a very small percentage. Miles ÷ gallons of gas = MPG

A quart every 1000 miles is not normal in any modern car. Period. You would drive from NY to CA and half your oil would be gone. Nope. I’ve owned probably twenty cars and none of them consumed oil like that in normal healthy operation. I drove my VW from CA to NJ and it didn’t consume any oil.

Pretty sure he is asking about stock turbo. Plenty of people make over 500whp on a larger turbo with a cat, myself included.
