V730 faster, still wear well for their pace. Not great in wet. Best cost/performance ratio tire currently out. $900/set for 275/35/18 is unbeatable.
ECF shouldn't really be called a 200TW tire IMHO as they are way in the back as far as pace. They last forever though, seriously. It's basically a...
I also forgot to mention direct CAN connection is MUCH faster so you get a much higher logging rate.
Anyway... here are some examples of non-generic OBD2 items:
Direct CAN specific items (Unavailable via generic OBD2):
Steering angle
Gear Temp
Wheel Speed
Wheel Speed - Left Rear
Wheel Speed -...
That only shows generic obd2 data that any obd2 adapter and your phone could show.
OP is creating something that will show BMW specific data like what ecutek and bm3 can show/log
The CAN-CHECK product can do this as well but quality is a bit crap and support is bad.
No, I was going to suggest to put UV dye in the oil. However, I 100% understand the car is new with less than 1,000 miles and you want Toyota to deal with anything like this. I respect this even if it might have sounded otherwise before.
I mean you can clearly see it's an open diff in the photo.
I believe the Euro 2.0L's have a "sport package" that could add the lsd.
Just looked at the German site...
Apparently you can get a 2.0L with the 3.0L active rear diff, active suspension and brembo brakes. Learn something new every day!
Super cool. Would love to see what data items you are planning. I have also been working on more robust BMW centric CAN items for datalogging.
Are you also planning on datalogging abilities or just display?
Always appreciate your more level-headed approach to sharing information. BTW, we met for a split second once a couple years back when I had my Evo 10 on the dyno at Street Tuning Performance.
Agreed. Which is why I was interested in how you were using it. I used a torqbyte setup as a fuel pump controller for my surge tank on my Evo 10. Great products.
