Instructors are very very very hit or miss.
I've seen more instructors more concerned with their ego than your driving. Ironically, they are usually the slowest drivers at track days and then complain if you drive fast.
I was at an event last year where an instructor complained about us doing...
The way those rotors and calipers are filling the 19" wheel, I think those are actually the 395mm discs/calipers, not the 374mm disc/calipers (supra has 348mm discs stock)
348mm = Stock supra
374mm = M340i M-performance upgrade, also standard on 750i/X5, upgrade option on 840i/740i/540i
395mm =...
I don't disagree, but you said you were in a pinch. Also the only reason I am currently using them. Back to brake pads that perform 98% as well at less than half the price after this.
Aside from all the other issues I see and Jesse pointed out in the log, the fact that they have your HPFP maxed out and crashing and claiming a dyno plot with power falling off a cliff like it's good on their instagram... well.....
Good way to blow shit up.
Too much boost for ethanol level in the lower RPM. HPFP maxed out and crashed. ramping up the boost as the RPM builds is a way to get around this. HPFP has a harder time keeping up with demands in lower RPM as the spinny bits aren't spinning so spinny.
Your HPFP crashed during that pull, hence the boost drop and the power drop. 126 is max HPFP degrees. It's maxed right from the onset, you can see the 126* max and the pressure drop clear here in the log:
Both the pump and E60 dyno runs you did with the graph you posted.
You can also just link to the BM3 online log like this: https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=6518afc3d10b439b208af0fa
I'm hoping you are logging both HPFP angle (base) and HPFP angle (final) so we can see how well that HPFP is working.
Why are you losing 100whp from 6-7k and 200wtq from 5.5-7k? That turbo shouldn't be running out of breath there at all.
Also, if you are concerned with trans, take that huge torque hit out of the tune, because your aero has nothing to do with your trans issue. That will suck on track anyway...
Yet another classic “you should come meet me and we can talk”
Carl took the photos from this website that sells the same product and put his watermarks on them like they were his photos.
Same product, same photos, half the price…...
