Sonoma. I got four laps to learn the track, the car, and get a hot lap in. Even tougher because there was a guy in our group running 23 seconds slower than everyone else, so we kept having to lap him.

Mine was built in 1973, I try to fit too much into it, and the floor is bare. Boring and cramped.

Naw. Adding black parts makes the car look like a salvage rebuild waiting for paint. The parts don't save any weight. It's no bueno. A step above the kid that pulls any part they can to spray paint it a different color because he/she desperately wants to mod SOMETHING. ? /Rant

Oh, gotcha. Even better. If mine were black plastic, I'd be replacing them asap too. My car came with CF caps, so I've never seen the black. Yuk.

I'm not into mods that don't make a car faster... but that is a seriously essential upgrade. I had no idea the mirrors look like that under the caps. Wow.

If I remember correctly, the hatchback CTR had a roll cage and some other stuff for it's 'Ring run. I don't remember details... but I do seem to recall there being some controversy. Maybe the new one did too? Also.. I'd rather run a CTR around the 'Ring than a Supra. The course it bumpy and...

A lot of us never understood the "checker board" look of some Supras. Adding black pieces to a colored car breaks up the entire theme/flow/design. Youra looks great.

For anyone who hasn't been to LVMS, here's the video from my fastest lap. So many bobbles... so many places to make up some time....so many chances to have the class record. AAAARRRRGGGHHH. I wish I had known I was that damned close.
