  4. All-New 2016 Lexus GS F has a 467HP 5.0-liter V8

IMO, this is more of a 550i competitor, rather than a M5 fighter. They should have called it the GS500 F Sport and wait to for the V8 turbo for a true GS-F. Click here to view more photos http://www.carscoops.com/2015/01/all-new-2016-lexus-gs-f-has-467hp-50.html
  5. The MKIV vs MKV Thread

I actually like the C6's taillights on the C7, and they even made a kit for it lol. I also think it works better because there isn't such a huge gap with the Corvette unlike with the Supra. You just can't take body parts straight off of a 90s car like the MKIV and stick onto a fresh design like...

  7. Hybrid Supra Rumors & Chatter / B58 hybrid

If I recall correctly, all Toyota said about that concept is around 400hp and 0-6 in around 4 seconds. I'm guessing at that time if it had gone into production, Toyota would have most likely used a modified version of the 3.5 V6 hybrid 2GR-FXE from the GS 450h.
  8. The MKIV vs MKV Thread

I like FT-1's taillights. Speaking of the MKIV; someone photo shopped them onto FT-1 and it just didn't look right.

  15. Toyota Press Release: FT-1 Concept Coming to Gran Turismo 6 on January 14

Could be wrong, but I think the low starting weight of the FD RX-7 was maybe: JDM models, stripped down models, or special editions??? I think for the US it was around 2,789 lbs for the base model. 2,800 lbs for the R1, and 2,862 lbs for the touring.
  16. What are you ok / not ok with new Supra sharing with BMW

I think another reason why Toyota would pick BMW's I6 is to retain the Supra's I6 tradition.
  17. Will FT-1 concept follow the FT-86 timeline?

We haven't had any updated concepts or spied test mules of the LF-LC since October 2012. And if I recall correctly, there was a huge time gap with the 86 as well. The FT-86 debuted in October of 2009 (FT-86 G Sported debuted January of 2010). FT-86 II did not appear until March of 2011.

Well, as others have stated; we could see a real life version of the FT-1 Gran Turismo at the Tokyo Auto Salon.
  20. New Supra and Z4 will share platforms

Could be wrong, but IMO, if the test driver wasn't creditable, than I don't think Toyota would have reacted as fast and swiftly as they did with a counter statement.
