    They’re so cheap, why not?
  2. Ohlins Road & Track

They are meant for the geometry of the OEM suspension. Why it’s best to get ones that are designed to articulate better with an adjustable setup.
  3. LEGO jack stand adapter

Yet we both know you’ve seen far worse. Some aren’t bad enough to make it your way… And there’s never a shortage of those I slipped and fell, it didn’t feel right?!? You don’t need the radiologist to confirm itā€˜s a salt or pepper shaker, kid’s toy, shampoo bottle…. I better stop ?
  4. trash site

Gotcha… since you’re keeping them, go out and light em up, get on them and really break them in. Mine always did better after a track day, less noisy. But that’s just me and down here. Hope it gets better for ya!
  5. LEGO jack stand adapter

Damn…. I refreshed the page, didn’t see your response & updated my question. I’m getting into this way too much!! How about taking a vice grip to a bunch of those little lego pieces, the solid block of the same material & ones sold on the market? See which can take the most lbs/sq in or...
  6. LEGO jack stand adapter

Take a vice grip to a bunch of those little lego pieces & see how hard you can squeeze until it breaks. Compared to a solid block of the same material & ones sold on the market for a few bucks that have already done this. It be a fantastic test to see how it plays out…...
  7. Anyone traded their s550 Mustang GT for a Supra, any regrets?

Yup well said. It looks good and has that raw appeal. And if it was priced right, a lot less, it might even be worth considering the downsides. You just don’t feel like you’re getting a decent bang for the buck. I think many people forget or find out (my wife included) it’s no where near the...

If not tracking, it’ll take a really really long time…. But they stop GREAT!! I put Hawk HPS Plus on my wife’s GTi. She complained at 1st about noise, dust, you name it. Few months went by, I asked if she wanted me to change them back (get some cheap ceramic ones). She emphatically told me she...
  9. What next after the Supra?

Wish we had that State side!!
  10. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Correct. Fixed it. Thx y’all ? You definitely would. I used up a set of my good tires one event, back in the day (lol but true story). I was given a set of street/summer tires by some more experienced buddies, told not be such a whiner or worry about times, to just go out have fun. Glad I did...
  11. Ohlins Road & Track

Gotcha. I took it as you have them in addition to what they are attached to. My bad… Did you change the height? Have other adjustable parts that may not like the new settings. I’d jack it up and move the wheel around (two person job), and see what’s moving that shouldn’t be. If y’all haven’t...
  12. Ohlins Road & Track

The Ohlins attach to the vehicle’s top hats (upper mounts) by reusing the OEM upper mounts. If reusing the previous owners top hats for say camber adjustments (pillow-ball mounts), they need to be designed to do so with the Ohlins. Do you know if your current ones are compatible?
  13. 2023 MT supra pulling left under WOT

That sucks man! Can they lock it down? And are you able to avoid most pot holes or go another route when taking the Supra out?
  14. What next after the Supra?

Me too. I certainly wouldn’t track one. That’s where this Toyota/BMW fits the bill. Reliability on track is harder to come by than most people think.
  15. MST 6” Performance V2 Intake

This is exactly why I’d get the Injen if I were to do it all over again. However my older version MST with the clear plexiglass looks nice (when it’s not so friggin dirty) and I can hear the turbo wooshing ? much easier (for fun) ? I like what Toyota did with the GT4. That would be a nice...
  16. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I was worried about going square initially. Giving her bigger than intended tires up front. It wasn’t too bad, but definitely grippier (causing less understeer). That can easily be fixed multiple ways mentioned earlier. And like Rock Bob said, grippier tread wear will be your best bank for the...
  17. New (and old) SupraMKV members say hello!

I don’t know all the BMW build designations. But I do know we loved all the BMWs we owned in the past (M3 coupe & sedan, X5, and 5 series). This Zupra is the 1st modern BMW we’ve owned post SUV kid life. And love everything about it. Steering feel, weight, low torque grunt & pull, no turbo lag...
  18. trash site

Definitely do what the others are saying. Get rid of those mofos. I did and never looked back. No clunking with the DTC60s either. https://www.supramkv.com/threads/supra-brake-pads-the-same-as-z4.10763/page-2
  19. What did you do to your Supra today?

Figure of speech ? I swear they all come to Ft. Myers Trade ya my place for a mountain home in Blue Ridge GA From that emission checking website (cat free all clear): ā€œGeorgia No California Vehicle Standards in place or proposed. Last Reviewed: November 2024ā€
  20. Lets see those 18" wheel setups!

Apex uses people first hand experience for their suggestions. Many members car’s are on there as examples. Takes the guess work out, if that helps. Sure did for me. I’ve got 2 sets of Apex ET30s (one black one bronze) - 18ā€œ full square setup. Love em!!
