  1. What did you do to your Supra today?

Got the RK charge pipe installed. Still need to cut the CF engine cover to get it to clear the sensors, but that's tomorrow's task.
  2. Brake rotors for track use

If its your first track day, no. You'll be learning the car, not going 100%. But if you decide its the thing for you, then you should do so afterwards.
  3. Track Driving Fluid intervals?

I'm in your boat, just a couple a year. Oil every 5k miles, brake fluid once a year b/c I went with Endless -- much better brake feel, but less resistant to humidity, diff and transmission at the specified intervals. I've also got Endless MX72 pads, about the same dust levels, but they stop...
  4. Track Driving Fluid intervals?

As you said, do the oil; we recommend 5w-30 if you're tracking since 0w-20 is quite thin. Carry some extra with you on the day of. Also keep a quick tire deflator and air compressor to reinflate on you. General rule of thumb is 32-35 PSI when hot. And prep yourself -- its a long day, so get a...
  5. What did you do to your Supra today?

    More or less
  6. Every New Supra comes with One Year NASA Membership

Sent you a DM with some go-pro footage I have.
  7. What did you do to your Supra today?

Finally took this out of the shrink wrap. Can't wait to get this installed this weekend.
  8. Switching to Manual from Auto version?

Agreed 100%, an enthusiast's car is more than 3 pedals. I'd love to see a "manual only" person squirm when I present them with the choice of a a manual Mitsubishi Mirage vs the Supra/458/GT4 RS/etc and tell them to select the enthusiast's car.
  9. Follow-up post for my grad school project

If I had more time, I'd think about a design that would maybe use the stalk for adaptive CC.
  10. What did you do to your Supra today?

Got the RK Titanium charge pipe and Verus diff cooling plate. Will be installing both for Cars and Coffee this weekend.
  11. New Owner - So Much Hate?

A couple of us Seattle folks did an Easter cruise through Kirkland, and heard some kids go bonkers over seeing 10 of us rolling down the street. Turned so many heads through the main street there.
  12. New (and old) SupraMKV members say hello!

Welcome welcome! For the trunk fix: https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c/dorman-autograde/dorman-autograde-soft-vacuum-connector-assortment/dag0/47432 One of those connectors fits perfectly and will hold your hatch release in place.
  13. Tires for A90 Supra (3.0 liter)

It will still spin, just not as much.
  14. Switching to Manual from Auto version?

Yup, definitely more worth it to get a new one. I'd definitely get a second car to have that manual, rather than trade in the current Supra. And personal opinion, I'd rather get a manual on a '90s or '00s car (997-era 911, ideally). That era seems to be a good blend where the technological...
  15. Here's your reminder to track your Supra

Brakes seem like it depends on track and conditions. I've heard people say they faded on Pacific, and I didn't notice anything on Pacific or the Ridge up here in the PNW.
  16. Here's your reminder to track your Supra

I'd toss in better brake pads, maybe some better brake fluid for better feel, and 5w-30 oil rather than the 0w-20 water we get.
  17. Switching to Manual from Auto version?

My rear sway bar would like to have a word.
  18. Switching to Manual from Auto version?

Lighting a new fire: Verus, Blackline, or Golden Wrench caps to replace the OEM ones?
  19. Can JB4 Clear a Check Engine Light caused by a downpipe?

Short answer is "no". Long answer is "you can clear it but it will come back". You need a tune to remove the CEL. Or you can get a GESI approved catted downpipe which shouldn't CEL. My AA catted hasn't; there's a couple of others which fit the bill, but IDK the brands off the top of my head...
  20. Can JB4 Clear a Check Engine Light caused by a downpipe?

If you have a stock downpipe, that shouldn't be happening. It sounds like something else isn't plugged in correctly.
