Can someone explain this phenomenon? I don't understand how going catless can change your boost level. Boost is read at the charge pipe and the closed loop feedback system shouldn't be affected by turbine-side back pressure.
something to do with wastegate calibration?
Unrelated, but this...
My buddy with a CU Later (<2k mi) is probably looking to sell soon, think he's asking 67-68, OBO. We'll see.
I wonder how the values of A91 MTs vs A90 MTs will compare down the road.
Street has a 200 cell cat in it, iirc. Race is catless. Both have built in defoulers to prevent CEL.
Is Kenji the same as Function werk? They seem similar if not exactly the same product.
Yeah I remember seeing that post a while back. Surprised that even Jesse couldn't get it smoothed out. I did PM Jesse recently to ask about it but never heard anything back. I'm guessing he hasn't figured out JB4 on MT yet.
I also remember seeing some guy on YouTube say that even BMS couldn't...
Pedal feel won't change but I think @AJRMKV is referring to the power delivery and smoothness of JB4 with the MT. I would also like to know. My JB+ on the MT is smooth usually, but not always. Sometimes kind of surge-y.
I got a function werk catless from another member on here ($400) and I'm 200 miles in with no CEL. It has a built in defouler thing for the 2nd o2. Previous owner had it on several thousand miles with no CEL. Seems like Armytrix and FW are the best options for going catless.
Great choices (and colors ? ). Might be looking to get the wife an Alltrack at some point too.
Been a VW fanboy for a decade but the MT Supra seemed better value than the RS3s I was looking at.
Yeah, I saw the article on that.

sorry for Jalopnik lol, but it is true that Americans are responsible for it lasting as long as it did.
Frank van Meel, head of BMW M division, said in 2018:
We get it bro, you have buyers remorse for your auto. ? Enjoy your tenth quicker lap times.
I can't hate on anyone for their transmission preference but @Spart is right that most manual cars on sale in USA are enthusiast models - being sold to enthusiast drivers. Wouldn't say anything if you...
Yeeeeeah its not like this guy is cutting up traffic at 100 or doing a street takeover - F those guys?
A single run up to 130-140 on a completely empty highway does not warrant the disrespect shown here. As you said - at what speed is reckless driving? The answer, of course, is depends on...
totally agree, but this guy said the highway was empty. It's his risk to take.
Honestly I'm on your side when it comes to any sort of traffic on the road. I hate seeing people swerve through traffic at 100+.
But also, it sort of comes off like "abstinence is the only method of birth control"...
Thoughts on someone doing the equivalent on an empty autobahn? Just curious what you think the difference is besides the law. Empty highway is empty highway.
Everyone needs to chill a bit. Look, if you're gonna take your car to Mexico - assess the risk. Any car around you can pull out in front of you at any time - they're probably on their phone going 10 under. That aside, I honestly don't see the problem on a completely empty highway for a good pull...
