3300ish miles on my MT, had it for nearly 11 months.
Clutch is completely fine. Been JB+/JB4 tuned for 2500 miles. No clutch slip, no clutch smell. Nothing weird at all to report, other than like others said: the clutch pedal feel is meh and a bit vague due to CDV.
I don't park next to people ever. The few times I park next to others in my daily, I come back to it dinged up. It's almost a guarantee. Not letting that happen to the supra.
identical to the route I shared with the exception of the E section. Can vouch that its a very fun and technical drive.
Looks like E section hits up Sassafras, which I've done before too
Nah it'll be fine, but your car will be using way more throttle angle to control your boost.
Exhaust backpressure is a variable in the DME logic that ultimately affects wastegate duty cycle and boost targeting.
With JB4 it is easy since I can just mix roughly 1:3 ratio of E to gas to begin, and the datalogs will tell me if I need more or less ethanol. With BM3 or MHD, I'd probably just go for full flex tune and flex sensors.
absolutely. Anything outside of Map 1 will need ethanol, and frankly, your Map 1 should use it too.
I recommend putting 3 gal ethanol in, and re-logging Map 1 before proceeding.
Looks like timing is non-existent, so yeah stick with Map 1 until you want to blend ethanol.
Recommend putting in 3 gal ethanol to a full tank gas, or use the 1:3 ratio. Then you can try Map 2.
Also please upload to datazap and post the link here next time.
Map 1 won't cause damage, but...
Funny, I thought I knew which factory you were talking about since I've seen a Supra out front, but google street view confirms its a Nitro, not red. ? Look for it on your right, off 385 headed to cola from gvl
sorry if I doxxed one of you guys ?
Drive up caesars head to Cedar Mtn, take E Fork Rd to Rosman, then head down 178 to Sunset.
Enjoy ?
as @Yli said, caesars head traffic can be rough, but E Fork and 178 is usually fine.
Can't speak for catted, but catless+stock exhaust is plenty loud for me. and the pops are way too loud ?
I am on JB4, but it doesn't matter since burbles are controlled by the DME
