Totally get it, JB+ worked great for me anyway.
There is usually no need to tune the JB4 really unless you have mods, particularly a downpipe.
Always have the trade up credit too, full refund on JB+ when you upgrade.

Yeah, my PPF installer said the Supra hood was one of the hardest cars he's done. That and a Porsche Macan hood apparently. This dude PPFs exotics on the regular too.... GT4RS was next in line after mine.
dude no kidding, i feel like these are reaching bottom of depreciation curve and I've always loved them. A lot of car for the money - no idea on reliability but I'd hate to give up having a MT.
F87 M2 Competition with a MT for sure. Only other car in the price range and segment that handles like a Supra.

ECU runs different timing tables depending on intake air temps (maybe more variables that I don't know of). More timing and less boost in low temps, opposite in higher temps.
Will also make timing corrections as needed when detonation/knock is detected. You would mitigate this with higher octane.

yes it does ramp to peak by 4.5k and tapers after 6k on both map 4 and 5. I don't think its because of boost threshold. It appears to be fuel/trims limited <4k .
yup, the car hates being above or below boost target at the end of spool from what I've seen
