Yup, @i3igpete with a 2023 AT, worked with him a bit to understand the differences between MT and AT (with similar mods). AT definitely easier lol, less issues when running the same map.
Good objective analysis of it. I've said it before, and will continue:
Jesse is definitely the most knowledgeable for 1 on 1 tuning support to get the absolute most out of your car.
That aside,
I regularly review logs and provide feedback for free, here and on JB4 forum because why not. I'm...
I still see Jesse's price at 575, but honestly you can just get a secondhand JB4 here for $400 and run an OTS map...
Or post the logs in my thread, or on the JB4 forum for review to see if custom tuning is needed. Its not required to get a Jesse tune... He can charge what he does because...
Can you verify that none of the harness cables have been burned through? Seen that exact issue come up on the JB4 forums. I figure you checked already, but ya never know...
If only such a thing existed ;) I've heard some convertibles come off the Supra assembly line.
Also, hate to break it to you, but your car is not an A91. A91 is special edition designation only, not 2021+ models as a common misconception.
I think there's more to it. I'm in my 20s and have never owned an AT car. I know that the majority of miles driven in my future lifetime will be in an autopilot EV or soulless appliance that does most the driving for me.
Why not enjoy the old-fashioned way while we still have that choice? It...
As long as enough of you buy MTs to keep the option available on new cars, IDGAF what yall's preferences are lol.
My only objective reason for buying an MT over AT is resale value and depreciation. Anything else is subjective.
It's no secret that Helmut Marko wants to hire Lando.
At this point, it seems better for Lando to stay put. No need to subject him to the Verstappen-teammate curse. ?
And by curse, I mean that the RB car is nowhere near as strong as people think, and Max is doing the heavy lifting. Makes any...
I would recommend just logging map 1 to start and proceed from there. Post log in my thread if you want.
Check this out: M340i with a catless downpipe pushing 22psi on Map 1

stock dme requests some wild boost targets...
I don't recommend Map 3 for high boost B58 models - Z4, Supra, M340i, etc.
If you want to push that kind of boost, why not Map 5? At least there is no risk of it going over 22psi there, unlike Map 3 since 5 is absolute targeting. E30 required, by the way, for either.
I just found that the car felt more special to drive when I drove it less frequently.
It's nice to drive a daily that I can actually see out of and people don't stare at me or talk to me every time like when I'm out in the supra lol. I'd definitely recommend people to at least put a couple...
I use a clutch stop in my GTI, its been totally fine for 60k+ miles.
Needed it since the new clutch kit raised the bite point so much.
Might try it with the Supra. It is true that it makes shifting faster if you usually fully depress the pedal like me.
2900 miles in ~9 months on my 23 MT. Car is getting good use! About 50/50 with the daily.
Supra gets driven in good weather - happens to be most the time here in SC. ?
