  1. Trunk/Boot Release Button Security

Hmm.. not sure how this would help? Unless I am missing something - not unusual lol - Rather than an extra lock, the project needs an extra unlocking mechanism, ie: a keyfob or a clone thereof.
  2. Trunk/Boot Release Button Security

You're going to need to break that down further? Do you mean to say purchase or use a second original keyfob?
  3. Free Track Day?

    Ugh. Thanks.
  4. Trunk/Boot Release Button Security

Has anyone tried cloning the trunk unlock button?
  5. Trunk/Boot Release Button Security

Key would be present but in my bag or pocket.
  6. Trunk/Boot Release Button Security

If you're talking about the solution peddled on here, installation is a fucking nightmare by the looks of it. This is a much simpler and for my money, elegant solution. Less expensive too!
  7. Trunk/Boot Release Button Security

Well, it's only the signal for the boot release. And if I wanted to make it more secure I could add it to a non-standard location. ?‍♂️
  8. Free Track Day?

Do Australian Supra buyers get a free track day or is that just a US thing?
  9. What did you do to your Supra today?

I thought maybe JDM.. but they use RS/SZ. ?
  10. Supra Nurburgring Time?

They're Honda model designators, ala A90 I guess: FL5 is the current generation Type R, FK8 is the previous one. Then it was the FK2 and before that came my current daily, the much maligned FN2.. which also had a more hardcore brother in Japan known as the FD2. That should do you for now. :)
  11. Trunk/Boot Release Button Security

Why? Well I'm glad you asked. ? If the trunk release button signal can be cloned, then you could very cheaply and effectively create an exterior trunk release button. My idea is to wire a small water proof button to the new (cloned) keyfob circuit board. This button can be fitted in a discrete...
  12. Trunk/Boot Release Button Security

I know there is a commercial wired solution available on here, but after investigating it, I honestly don't think it is worth the effort. I know its a long shot, but I was thinking.. if the signal from the trunk/boot release button isn't subject to the usual rolling code security, could this...
  13. Headlight Cluster - Repurposing Missing Buttons?

Not sure about Home Link - But I don't think we have that. I did consider buying a used US Supra mirror and fitting it but I think my idea is far simpler. Absolutely no wiring to the car at all! Button on dash ----> wire ----> soldered to garage door keyfob circuit board hidden in dash. Garage...
  14. Headlight Cluster - Repurposing Missing Buttons?

In my previous car I placed a small push button onto the centre console connected by a wire soldered onto a spare garage remote fob. As Oz cars don't come with a door garage opener on the mirror, I thought I could use the Supra headlight cluster's missing button panels to accomplish this task -...
  15. The Official AUSTRALIAN Thread

Thanks mate. It's increasingly looking like this is (for the moment at least) a Victorian issue because of that stupid new pre-delivery centre.
  16. The Official AUSTRALIAN Thread

Thanks mate. Adding it to my case.
  17. The Official AUSTRALIAN Thread

I do like the yellow but that blue is a close second. Looks good mate. Also, I've decided that if I do have to fill and respray the front bar, I'm going to have the Toyota oval filled while I am there so I can slap a proper BMW roundel up front.
  18. The Official AUSTRALIAN Thread

Mine did too. I advise you to have it added to your contract. My original salesguy left and I trusted the process and now I'm in limbo. Trust me, if it's in writing they will make it happen, one way or another. Only way to be sure.
  19. UK Supra - No Engine Bay Strut

I'd be going back to the stealer with a pretty big please explain.
