yours won’t be the only dirty one. Mine was clean before I decided I had to drive it to lunch today. Weather made it not worth dragging out the foam canon and buckets.
Doubtful that I would head out to Dreamland but hoping to swing by JD's to meet a few of the other local Supras. Depends on work though...I don't normally work weekends but we're working on the annual plan @ work so hoping we can get it to a good place today.
Not sure I'm up for...
How do those come loose?! Did you mod the suspension?
If I was Toyota and suspension bolts were loose on an unmodified car, I’d tighten them with locktite and go back to look for other examples of that occurring.
I would double check with whoever you want to buy your extended warranty from, but pretty sure a Toyota extended warranty just needs to be purchased before the original 3/36 basic warranty expires. If you’re buying through someone like Jennifer, I’m pretty sure the price is the same throughout...
I want to say it was a little over $3K.
TLDR: I wouldn’t bother asking the local dealer to match the price.
Way too detailed version…
You can ask your local dealership for their best price but it’s doubtful they’d get close. I negotiate a lot of car deals for families & friends and always...
None of the local Toyota dealers had it in stock so buying it at BMW was the easiest way for me to find it.
I picked it up at the local BMW dealer. Interestingly, it was cheaper for me to buy it from them online and pick it up vs walking in and buying it at the parts counter.

I think you might be under pricing your car if you’re listing it for sale by owner vs selling it to a dealer.
I thought this Refraction Blue was way over priced but he seems to have sold it relatively quick (3-4 weeks)...
I would've bought a manual Supra if it had been available and wouldn’t have had wandering eyes but planning to move on and put a deposit on a 2023 Z06. I know…it’s an automaticbut it sounds nuts!
Who knows in the long run though. I’m notoriously cheap and may keep the Supra to preserve cash...
Do you recall which dealership they went to for the recall?
I’m scheduled to have the update performed at RR Toyota this weekend. I’ve spoken with the Supra tech there and he’s the only one I trust with my MKV.
I went with the 10/125 plan through Jennifer and it was super easy.
Personally, I’d rather pay a known amount up front vs chancing it all the way to 125K miles. I was thinking about it for a while but made my mind up when the dealer had to replace the electric power steering rack under 5K...
It’s been a while since you had the suntek ppf ultra applied at bespoke. Still happy with it?
That’s the same shop and ppf I’ve been considering for my 2021 but I haven’t pulled the trigger on it.
Thanks for the info!
Have you tracked your car, are you aggressive on the brakes, do you live in a hilly area?
Could be warped rotors. It would feel like a pulsation through the brake pedal and sometimes through the steering wheel. I haven’t run into that with the Supra but it’s been an issue for us with several...
Not sure where you’re located but Aaron at Round Rock Toyota (in Texas) solved a few early issues for me (replaced the steering rack, solved a computer issue that made the computer go nuts…).
I got the chance to speak with him when my car was in for service and he seemed experienced and well...
A lot of the Austin MKV owners mention PPE in Georgetown for mods. The owner is pretty cool and has one of the faster MKV’s in Austin.

Full disclosure. I live in Austin so it’s easy for me to get out there.
I’ve gone to watch he vintage races every year for the past several years. It’s my favorite racing of the year but I’ve always gone strictly to watch the racing. I had no idea they host a car show until I noticed the...
