Tends to be a combination of;
Good value overall
High quality
People shopping JB4's are likely to run in to them if they go on Burger's website
First option when you Google "Supra spacers
I run them, they're very good. 12mm front and 15mm rear on stock suspension/wheels is just about perfect...
so what adds $100K to the price tag again?
I'd be flat out embarrassed to show people I paid supercar money for a slightly tweaked special edition Supra... $100K on top should have at least got you an S58 Supra.
I don't think it's rough at all, I just noticed how the throttle blip is strong and fast enough on stage 3 to make the turbo spool up to 6-7 PSI instantly. Sounds pretty good with an intake.
Tried it myself after using Stage 2 for the past few months. Stage 3 definitely feels better and a fair bit quicker than Stage 2 now.
Interesting thing I noticed is downshifting 3rd to 2nd seems to spool the turbo up a lot more than before. Sounds pretty cool when you downshift coming to a stop.
It does, however, introduce competition thereby potentially reducing costs.
That being said, we've got 2 weeks(tm) until we know if they're blowing smoke or actually have a breakthrough.
You only need to upgrade the charge pipe if you plan to upgrade the turbo or run meth injection. Stock turbo doesn't make quite enough boost to crack or break it.
Oh yeah, that's $300K minimum on release. I look forward to never seeing one in person because they'll all be scooped up by car collectors who buy cars as investments...

This is something you would buy for an extra 30-50 WHP without the big price tag of, and without worrying about the (not that noticeable) lag that comes with, a bigger and much more capable turbo upgrade.
I can GUARANTEE you aren't getting to 500 WHP with the Pure600 on pump 91, not even close...
FEMTO is still the only unlock method, unfortunately.
Only notable update besides that is JB4 has an upgrade that allows fuel pressure control, which does make JB4 more capable, but still not as good as a proper unlock and tune.
Toyota wanted to make a car that matches the Cayman's performance on the track but for much less than a comparably equipped Cayman. I'm not convinced the LC chassis would have got them there on both fronts, let alone either.
Because if those "100% equal" Chinese no-brand wheels you bought to save a few hundred bucks ends up cracking and snapping on the interstate and slamming you into a concrete wall, good luck fighting your insurance companies to pay for the totaled car and hospital bills because China sure isn't...
The Supra tends to hold its value pretty well regardless of mods, assuming you're only doing light modding / popular mods and keep the stock parts to give with the car. There's a reason you can't get 3.0's under $50K unless they're high mileage or been in a wreck.
That being said, you'll always...
This is more or less what I did, as I was NOT willing to make multiple visits for their techs to "diagnose and try things" before they finally offer to replace the pump itself.
I paid high at around 1800, but quite frankly it was a fantastic shop and every other shop in a 20 mile radius either...
I like darker metallic blue, especially if you get the calipers powder coated yellow or black.
I think (hope) he means that he wants suggestions that aren't too close to the factory Supra blue so that his car doesn't look too much like a stock color?
I'm sorry, I don't mean to come off so hateful towards it. I do like the car, I just think that the price is ridiculous, and that there are vastly superior cars you can get for the money, and I can't understand going from the Supra to the Emira as you'd be jumping to a car that isn't even...
In some ways, sure, but it's not even close to a 6-figure car. What I'm saying is that for $100K I'd rather get something that doesn't try to look like one of the major supercar brands while repurposing uninteresting engines from vastly less expensive vehicles (And, also, isn't a reliability...
It's still a car desperately trying to look like a supercar, while being in the price range of actually very quick and capable cars, while giving you the choice of a Toyota minivan engine, or a Mercedes base model sedan engine. Barf.
The Emira is cool, but not "spend $5K+ in repairs and maintenance every year just to have a car that KIND OF looks like a ferrari/lambo but is slower than a lot of modern luxury SUV's" cool.
The Supra still turns heads even 6 years after they came out. If you're buying a car because the exotic...
why do we talk about it so much? what is so interesting about 0w-20??
0(w) - 20 = -20 because once you multiply W by zero you get 0 minus 20 which equals negative 20.
