yeah brighter colors look terrible on this car.
At the very least the lower section of the bottom grille should be depth-matched and color-matched to the front bumper instead of indented and black, that would help a lot I think.
The looks grew on me personally; but only in dark colors (black especially) and lowered with a decent lip and a spoiler.
That being said, the fact that I feel I would need to do all of that to make it a car I like to look at means it's not really a car for me.
For the weight and price, I'd rather get a lightly used M4 X-Drive to be honest.
Then again I don't do any track activities, and I live in a state with nothing but straight, boring roads, so what benefits the M2 would have in handling and cornering don't apply as much to me as others.
Wouldn't...
While not tall, I'm 5'11" and there's definitely times I wish I could push the seat back another 1-2 inches. You can tell that this was a car designed in Japan. I can't imagine someone 6'2"+ or with longer legs than me having a comfortable driving experience in this car, sadly.
It's worth noting that the stock axles are known to fail off just an ethanol tune.
While this typically only happens when hooking good on a hard launch, it's possible that during more spirited drives / launches the axle became cracked/weakened over time, and the load put on it from driving up...
My ex-car was a 370z that I would do nothing but mod mod mod because I wanted to love it but deep down I hated everything about it. Came to realize the Supra is everything I wanted my Z to be in the first place and now we're here.
So aside from a very rare moment of nostalgia, I do not.
Wrong category / Need a pic with a name and timestamp per the seller rules.
EIther way, I'd just keep it tbh dude. It'll help the re-sale value to have the original cat if you ever want or need to move on.
as cool as the MK4 is I cannot fathom people spending 6 figures for one, let alone any 90's "JDM legend".
For the $110K this has been bid up to I'd rather get a used gen 2 Audi R8, or save a little bit longer and get a C8 Z06 brand new. Both vastly superior cars that don't have a sticky cheap...
Been on the FI Exhaust catless for about 6 weeks / 500 miles of spirited driving now. Running stock exhaust with JB4 always-open exhaust valve setting.
No CEL so far. Made the exhaust much louder and the pops quite a bit more aggressive. Also no drone, personally doesn't sound rasp-y at all (I...
for me it was an "1C0101 engine oil pressure regulation" code for a long time, then simply "1C2001 oil pump" when the CEL came on. 2021, 35K miles.
failing to read is almost always an indicator that your pump is in the early stages of failure. Could go a year like mine did before actually...
Tune is not required for any of the simple bolt-ons.
JB4 is cheap and the OTS maps are good enough for a pretty good boost in performance, and when you're ready for an unlock and proper tune you can still sell the JB4 for a chunk of change in return. I'd recommend it if you want some more power...
Assuming you want to safeguard everything and buy new, just going off of what I've researched looking into it myself;
Turbo kit: Let's say Remnant Omega, so $4000 give or take with shipping
Port Injection: $900-$1200 depending on the kit / sales / etc
Manifold: Wagner Tuning is $2500 and has a...
I feel like I'm the only person that exists who actually kind of likes that decal... :dunno:
then again, I'd rather pay $15 to have a sticker shop make them for me than several thousand extra for the trim.
