Did a quick thread search, didnt see an answer
Picked up my new 2025 last week, and when I plugged in radar detector (that has functioned perfectly in our other 2 cars), noticed it stays on even when car is off/locked. Is this power socket always on? I've never had a car that kept its accessories socket on after it was turned off (to avoid battery rundown), so this surprised me.
I do have a fear that there is something wrong with the socket, as on day 3 the socket blew its fuse and I found myself taking apart the fuse cover under the glove box with under 300 miles on the car to replace a fuse.
BTW, the fasteners on that fuse box cover are insidious to get back on, just saying.
Any thoughts welcome
