I'd have to empty all the ethanol I have in this tank before I flash back to stock. It's currently at E45. Patiently waiting for Mikey's response :(. I appreciate the input.

As far as the code goes, do you know if that's an overboost thing?
Man... Mikey may be a great tuner, but seems like he has major communication issues. I’ve seen people say he is well worth the wait, but I question that. Communication is so important with a tuner

Yeah, I'm starting to question it as well. He answered all of my questions prior to buying the tune - himself followed by eastcoastsupra. After I bought the combo.. absolute zero communication. I know someone is going to pop in here and tell me that I'm an impatient prick or whatever. But 3 weeks to provide a basemap and absolutely no follow-up on my concerns is unacceptable. If I had known the communication was going to be this lack-luster, I would've just went with CSG Zach.

The dude literally leaves me on read. I know he see's the message. Is it that hard to just reply on a concern?

Botti is not the only one that does that. I've had that with John Visconti as well. Both seem like "if you aren't spending loads of money or getting them fame, you can wait" kind of mindset.

Most of the tuners are way behind since they were all racing last weekend in Texas. I would try emailing Mikey or Jahaziel his assistant. Typically i've gotten responses or revisions in 48hrs from them. I would also try flashing the stock file and see if the code still pops up. It could be completely unrelated to the tune or a mechanical issue, but that would be the easiest way to check

After blowing up, he got back to me and we're tuning. Did 3 maps just now. Hopefully the code doesn't come back.

Hopefully an easy fix. Where there anything in the data logs he could see?
He didn’t mention anything about it. He just started the maps over since he feared there may have been some corruption.

I think you will be pretty happy once its dialed in. I've got some random issues with smart keys now and i've reflashed the car and it still doesnt work. Im dreading having to go to the dealer with the possibility they will reflash my ECU and lock me back out.

BMW problems...

late to the thread but that code can be from a couple of things. could be the tune or a failing servo motor or bad valvetronic settings.

How can we tell if the servo motor is bad and how do we adjust for the valvetronic settings?

Or they could flat out just leave you hanging and never getting back to you after a prebooked dyno tune shop while you and 4 other people took time off from work and losing out on money... it could always be worse :) And not man enough to reply to your messages ever.... lol
