Great database. Will surely come in handy for prospective buyers. Only question is, whhhyyyy is there a MK4 picture on your website:eek:??

I'd like to call BS on 7k "ADM" (BS to dealer, not you). What is for example Clovis adding on?? Do they even have inventory

Your efforts are greatly appreciated. While I would definitely recommend Toyota of Escondido, I bought a 3.0 Premium from them in November and they had a markup on that and EVERY other car on their lot. I negotiated them down on their markup but I still paid a small amount above MSRP.

Maybe they've changed their policy since November but I wouldn't count on it.

Maybe one of the first ones who wants to come out with a good reputation with double digit interest rates on the horizon. They also were happy to work with me since Im in Texas, and said they don't have anyone else waiting for a MT currently.

Could be salesman BS but just the phonecall was more pleasant and productive than almost every other call I made to California.

Or youre right and theyre just dragging me along, who knows :)
I would recommend them 100%. I didn't want to pay a markup but at the time I didn't think my deposits were going to guarantee me a car in the time that I needed to get one.

Once I got over paying a little markup, they were great to work with. I chose them over dealers in Milwaukee and Somerset, KY because I felt a good connection with the sales guy I had reached out to.

Damnnnn. I got lucky, when I got mine. It was RIGHT BEFORE the market got crazy. Literally days before things went nuts. I got mine at Toyota of Ventura. Amazing experience and ZERO markup on my 2020. It appears they are now at 7.5k??!!!!

I’m in LA and had zero luck finding on in CA without ADM or mark up. I ended up shipping one from the Midwest. Including the shipping, it was still cheaper than what CA dealerships wanted.

Same here! MSRP out of state or pay a markup in socal (markups and waitlists were way worse in Dec). So I did the obvious.

I think you called one of the Cali dealer and someone gave you the wrong info which lead to this huge brawl among employees in the showroom.

?

Actually it’s kind of sad to see they need to behave that way
Supposedly it is all over a doc fee that one manager told a customer they didn't have to pay, and the other Sales Manager found out and they had an argument and it turned into a fight. I can't confirm this to be true, read it on some page that interviewed a witness of the fight. Apparently the doc fee was $980 bucks, which if this is true is very illegal here in California as Doc fee's are capped at $85 dollars by the state.

Maybe I'm blind and/or tired, but I don't see Manhattan Beach Toyota on your list?

edit: I see your "almost" disclaimer haha. Just asking about them since I got mine from them a while back and curious to see what they're doing now

That's untrue. It was a fight over how much ADM to put on MT Supra, the one allocation they got.
They'll all be get ethics training for the rest of the year.
