Also maybe the LED one is a Hybrid or some other variant and the none LED is a base or performance version

what are you guys talking about. if they put the production light on a mule, and another does not have it then that's their choice. I don't read anything into it.
Exactly!

they usually have different mules for different road tests. cold temps, hot temps, HVAC, the 'ring ..etc and some are "long run" ones that they pound for extended periods on the road to gauge the wear. i guess the longest running mule had 'beta' electronics and lightening and its the one that had more "spy shot" opportunities.

^ I agree. This is probably one of the old mules we've already seen running around.

It does look much wider than Z4 though.

Looks identical in width to me. Maybe the rear end makes it look wider than it is?

Looking at the opening for the rear hatch - particularly the way it flares out at the bottom - is very like the FT1 concept and gives me hope there's an active wing hiding under there....

I'm hoping there is an intake under this panel.

I dunno hey, Im under the impression that there will be no side vent. I think that is simply there to hide the lines of the side profile.

But, i also could be very wrong lol. I personally would like to see the return of the side vents. I am skeptical though

I also would love to see some side vents. The opening/gap where the door meets the front fender has me pondering. :hmm:

It will be much easier to make an accurate rendering once all the fake panels are gone. My question is what is taking them so long. This thing has been spotted testing since May of 2016.

Even if there is a vent there, that's ON the door so it'd be a fake vent. i'd MUCH rather it be a crease than a fake vent...
Not necessarily, it could be built into the side skirt like the LC.
