With any luck that is not the production exhaust and we'll get something far better.

Appears to be a meat in the sandwich between the two 991 GT3's, although the first GT3 was surprisingly quite as opposed to the other GT3 behind the Supra. That one had a really nice downshift noise and it even sounded manual like, sounded like a proper heel-and-toe. Could be the new 991.2 GT3 then.

Personally i just want to go fast and (safely) sideways with the least amount of money . For that i can sacrifice sound and luxuries even though i enjoy the sound of a good sounding car .

For a lot of folks sound is a big factor in sports car choice. It will be interesting to see what a sales hit if any the Cayman and Boxster are taking with their new Subie -sounding 4-cyl engines. The twins' harsh engine/exhaust sound was enough to keep me away from those two.

VW and some other manufacturers are making the engine sound cool inside the cabin . I find this really strange but anyway it makes sense to some people. My problem though is this : why would someone pick a car based on sound and not on performance for a sports car . This brings me to the porsche cayman. Yes many people don't like the sound of the engine , i don't like it either , but to say this car needs a bigger engine because it just sounds better , is not so good . These engines are 350hp and the car weights just under 3000 lbs so even if they don't sound as good as a stock 2jz for example they are performing better and with one third of the fuel consumption.
I find this great actually because it means technology has advanced . By the way honda's vtec high revving engines i think are killed because of the same thing , high revving engines are suffering the same fate as big displacement engines because of fuel cons and emissions.

Yeah, you can see the lines where the camo ends right next to the front lights in one of the pictures.

Actually, I rather prefer the silver, slightly smaller wheels between the two. Once the camo is lost, I'm pretty confident that the car will look rather similar to the MKIV.

The brakes don't seem very impressive. From all the photos floating around, none have m2/m4 level sized brakes.

I'm really starting to like the shape of this car. Hopefully it's possible to get with some smaller wheels. I'm still hoping for a manual gearbox option.
