Hey, I had to sell my Supra due to personal reasons (house) but wanna get back into the Supra 3.0 again. Market in EU is very slim tho, way more 2019/2020 cars on sale (2port).
I know 2023MY cars have upgrades to steering (this is my main focus the steeering feel is a big part for me), suspension, gearbox, but it is really a big difference compared to 2019? I heared 2022+ cars feel less sloppy, more focused, not so soft comapred to early models.
I wanna do a more track oriented build so coilovers, better brakes, aero, some power mods to ~450-500hp. Locked ECU is a non-issuse, I will just Femto unlock if needed.
Finding 2022+ car will be way harder and more expensive, so I'm not sure if its worth trying to look for one or settle for older, but nice 2020.
Any opinions who drove both?

Europe may be different, but as far as pricing goes over here, the 2020s often go for essentially the same money as the newer models...which brings me to the second point, and that is MY2020 should NEVER sell for anywhere near the price of the MY2021-MY2023, considering how much better the newer revisions actually are. There's only a few of us on here that have owned and extensively driven the different models. That being said, if all model years have the two-port, 335hp engine in your country, the difference isn't as big, but if 2021+ are the six-port, NEVER SETTLE.

Well, low miles MY2023 is here around 30% more expensive than 2019. Older = cheaper, no1 cares 2019/2020 are ECU unlocked.
Yes, all are 2ports with the 1st version of B58 that came in the Supra. U mean newer are better coz of the engine or U mean sth else? Since engine is out of the equation :)

The six-port is the biggest difference, so if it's out of the picture anyway, there's less reason to spend the extra coin on a newer model. However, the steering & suspension changes for MY2021+ are still significant. Are they 25-30% price hike worthy? Probably not, since installing a good aftermarket suspension system will remedy the issue, and that's only a few grand. If you're planning on modding that stuff anyways, a MY2020 would suit you just fine.

All the years have functionally the same B58. It's the factory tune that changes. 2021+ simply run more boost, and slightly less compression ratio on the pistons. They're all Gen2/B58TU motors.

Well, I wonder if just flashing 2023 ECU into 2019 would give it steering/diff updates as well so it will gain more feel as newer models, coz this is what I am after. Ofc to tune the car I will need to Femto unlock it but well.... I will need to anwyay with newer car.

Have a nice red 2020 in the sight with low miles but unsure.. Suspension will be changed anyway.
