I don't think Sergio is starting from a good spot being between Charles and Lando, he is likely gonna end up behind both of them.

Yeah they almost did in lap 1 giving it to Lewis.

Red Bull won on strategy. Mercedes could have pitted Lewis but chose not to...that's on them.

Max deserves the win, he earned it!

Look mate, the FIA gave advantages to both drivers this race.
Red Bull kept their heads down and changed strategy, Mercedes didn't.

Mercedes lost Lewis this race, not the FIA.

Congrats to Max but wow Masi made a dog’s breakfast out of this. If FIA wanted a grandstand finish (which is the only way I can explain what was going on), they should’ve just immediately red-flagged the race like Nibble said. Doesn’t look like he followed the rules at all but I strongly doubt FIA will overturn the result.

Both protests have been dismissed, but now Mercedes have announced the intention to appeal the decision...sore losers.

Yes, Merc lost this one with tunnel vision, RB got aggressive with strategy, one advantage of being behind and not having anything to loose.

Yea, the issue they are going to run into is that the rules always have a backdoor that gives the director/stewards discretion to do whatever they want. The rules are there to say what should happen and in fairness what usually does happen but not what must happen (as it pertains to what the director/stewards can do). In any appeal the director/stewards will point to some clause that gives them plenary authority or discretion to take actions inconsistent with the rules.

In any event you can’t win them all—just almost all of them. ?Max drove well. People just got tired of hearing God Save the Queen and Das Deutschlandlied?.
