Because they know you're interested and they wanna make a quick buck on a low volume vehicle. Don't pay over sticker, the hype is dead with this car. I dont plan to pay over sticker for a 21, once they've been on dealer lots for a few months you have more room to negotiate.
oh yea. i told dealers before I put the deposit down on the 2020 that any markup and I was out without a second thought. I dont need to worry about it now though so thats good.
My dealer only had 3 en route back in August of last year but they agreed to sell me my 2020 at MSRP. Give it another month...I have had 4 dealers tell me that they know what are coming and expect them to be in late July and/or August with more in the fall, so likely September. None of them are the color that I want though
Another dealership that I wont touch with a 10ft pole told me that only 3 have been allocated to the entire PNW right now and I take the word of 4 other dealerships over them.
I just picked up a 2021 3.0 premium from Longo El Monte today. Sales rep was Daniel Nono, very nice guy. Got a pretty good discount for me too.
